We’ve ordered from this chicken express 4 times, and all 4 times there has been no gravy included in our chicken tender meals. We used to order from the one in Crowley and they never messed up our order. I called this restaurant to see if they had a different policy and didn’t not include gravy, and they did not. These were delivery orders and the manager just told me to contact Uber eats. It is literally not the job of Uber eats to ensure the order is correct. If you eat at chicken e, you know gravy is vital to the meal. I can’t believe I spent $60 and was just told to call the delivery service. They aren’t responsible for the correctness of the order, chicken express is. And they wouldn’t taken responsibility. I couldn’t wait to eat here again after we lived up north for 12 years while my husband was in the army, and this is just such a disappointment. Incorrect order and no customer service or accountability. 0/5 stars. This may not matter to them, but hopefully someone else can make the decision to visit a different store where they might get what...
Read moreOn a recent trip to Chicken Express for lunch with my sister, I was eager to get my fix of fried gizzards and livers with some sweet tea. Living in LA, where food prices are through the roof, I was pleasantly shocked when our total for two meals came to just $27.26. In LA, a cheeseburger alone can set you back $20, and that’s without fries and a drink!
The sweet tea at Chicken Express hit the spot perfectly. It was refreshing and just the right level of sweetness. Our food was absolutely delicious – the fried gizzards and livers were crispy and flavorful, and my sister’s meal was equally satisfying. The portions were generous, and every bite was a delight.
Chicken Express offers great value for money, especially compared to the inflated prices I’m used to in LA. I can’t wait to fly back for more of their delicious fried gizzards and livers. If you’re ever in the area and craving some tasty, affordable comfort food, definitely check out Chicken...
Read moreSigh….That sad fried pickle on the bottom right pretty much summarizes my Chicken Express visit. Keep in mind I do enjoy Chicken Express and their sweet tea is amazing! Although this visit and quite frankly this location is one the of the worst Chicken Expresses I’ve been too. For me, either Chicken Express hits hard and their tenders are amazing, or they are as hard as forged tungsten and over fried. The Tenders, corn nuggets, and pickles were way greasy and the fry on everything tasted gross.
Not only that, but the dude over the speaker as I was taking my order sounded like he just lost his family. Very depressed sounding and low monotonous voice, I could barely hear a thing! “No you cannot sub the bread or roll for another tender”. Is what he said.
Lastly, the fried pickles were decent although it tasted like they were left out for a couple days and then put in the fryer.
Sorry Chicken Expresses, but you left...
