Golden Chick — Restaurant in Fort Worth

On this day, 3 young and struggling men walked out as we walked in sharing a roll, and 1 of them got the courage to ask me for food and that him and his brothers were hungry. I'm the type of your hungry in gonna feed you. You might not hand over money, but you will eat today. So I tell the person taking out orders to let them order what they want. She gave a sigh and rolled her eyes like it was a problem. These 3 ordered very cheaply and were so polite, but I told them to order what they wanted. So they went to order a big family meal instead. I said no no you get your combos that you ordered first (which she had to input again since she erased their original order, and I said add the family meal as well." I mean, they needed to eat for the day, at least. Anyways I was in the spirit, and I was able. I just didn't like some of their better than thou attitudes. But my heart was happy as these young men thank me and even have me hug. I wished them well, and they walked off in the rain eating on the way. I know I was in the right place at the right time as I had been craving wings, and I drove a good 25 min in the rain to go to...

This location for the chicken crew that took my mother's order with am appropriate attitude. However the service of the Take Out Standards and Service. Took our appetites completely off our interest to ever consider dining here at this particular Golden Chick location in Ftm Worth, Texas. (Major issue #1) the to go box was leaking with Grease from the fryer it seemed, along with the fried chicken that was in the order. (Issue #2) one of the sides ordered was a mash potatoes w/gravy. The gravy was attached to the bag , however , NO MASH POTATOES.... AND unfortunately this day and time we did not have time to come back and receive the proper and expected service of the Golden Chick....please consider how super your chicken and crew along with customers are once the Chick crew pays more attention to their orders and there items on Take out especially. This location is horrible! They pretend to not be there, ignoring you at the marquee and locking the door during business hours. There were 3 cars present but no answer after 3 minutes in the drive through. They refuse to make certain items like fish within 45 minutes to 1 hour before closing. They charge double the previous price for sauce and fill the tiny condiment cup only 1/4 to 1/3 now as opposed to completely before. I asked the cashier and the manager to correct it but they refused. They waste soda on the outside of the cup and don't wipe it before handing it to you. They handed me the wrong order and after I looked through and realized it, they had me give it back to them so they could give it to the next customer, which is certainly a health code violation. A previous manager talked me into giving them another chance because she showed real concern and effort toward making it right. She must be gone now...
