Greek House Restaurant — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I came here at 1155 specifically for the lemon soup and was told that it's not ready. Of all the Greek/ Mediterranean restaurants in this area, Greek House is the only one that has lemon soup on their menu. And it's not ready. I ordered a ham and Swiss sandwich (8.49), which was okay. Ham was super salty, though. Daughter ordered the vegetarian plate (15.51) which was supposed to have 3 dolmas ( she got 2 warm soggy ones), fries (did not make it to the plate), 3 fried zucchini slices (never showed up), tzatziki (no flavor), salad, falafel patties (no flavor), hummus. Oh, and everything is ala carte except for the gyro plates. So I paid way too much for a sandwich and a vegetarian plate. They raised prices and did not change the board or menus to reflect this. There are many Greek restaurants in the area to try. I will not be back. I will make my own lemon soup...

My husband went today with our daughters and ordered at the counter and while paying it asked for a tip, he didn't want to leave it through the machine and typically gives cash instead. So he had intentions to leave a tip but decided not too when he saw the guy from the counter take the people's orders to them and being more attentive to them verses him having to go get their own food from the counter. Not getting the same service because a tip was not left at the counter doesn't necessarily mean you won't get one. But today he definitely didn't and told him we stopped going there because the food wasn't always fresh or portions will be different each time we have gone before. Ambience: pretty cute! Loved some of the light fixtures and painting. Food: we ordered hummus - literally received two tablespoons worth (for $4.25). There were cans of garbanzo beans on the way to the restroom - the hummus definitely tasted like it was made from canned chickpeas. We also ordered a falafel sandwich (which was at least decent in my opinion) and gyro sandwich (the lack of taste on the gyro was very disappointing). Cost for both sandwiches is pretty fair. Overall, not satisfied with the way food tasted and we are literally driving to another Mediterranean restaurant to finish remainder of our dinner. Would...
