University Christian Church — Attraction in Fort Worth

Gorgeous Church and such a great environment! As someone who has recently begun to identify as Demi and NB, I have been looking for an inclusive, open-minded (Welcoming AND Loving to all) place to worship, and I am so glad to have found this place.

There really aren't that many churches out there that provide a traditional feeling while being more progressive in their core principles.

I strongly believe that anyone should be able to hear a good message and learn about the scriptures. If Jesus didn't keep his sermons away from anyone, all should be able to hear it, regardless of how they identify. The pastor's messages are very easy to follow, to the point, and always devotional-esque.

Instead of just focusing on the past, there's a lot more thought-provoking statements and future-facing excitement in his messages, and that is something I have yet to encounter in other churches.

This is truly somewhere that I am so glad to be a part of, and the "come-as-you-are" counter-culture attitude (similar to the hippie movement when Calvary Chapel was founded-watch Jesus Revolution!) is very refreshing.

Thanks for having so many available worship times as well so more people can attend! I am so excited for Christmas and Easter Service...

This is a wonderful community of open minded and loving individuals exploring better questions to ask on the journey of discovering how to serve God in a divided world. I know that sounds like a sales pitch but as someone who grew up largely unchurched it has been what I had hoped “church” would be. Diverse in thoughts and experience but a community of support and love through the peaks and valleys of life. While the worship style is sometimes described as “high church” I truly appreciate the one hour a week to step out of the chaos and constant noise and ponder possibility and purpose in a space that is beautiful...

UCC is the best church in Fort Worth. Right next to TCU they have many TCU alumni and facility. They have a new minister, Russ Peterman, that came in December. He is a fabulous minister. The great news is that their service is broadcast on TCU radio at 11:00 and broadcast live on Facebook and Live Stream at 9:00 and 11:00.
