The nursing program at TCU is good; it is the second-best nursing school in Texas. However, if you are not ready to spend and possibly waste a substantial amount of money, if you are not sure about becoming a nurse, and if you hate schools that focus on weeding people out, then this is not the place for you. I spent one semester at this school, and I hated being there from the beginning because one, I was not used to being in an environment that lacks diversity. Two, like I said the nursing program is good but only if you are passionate about becoming a nurse and if you seek help on time when needed, because if not they will not have a problem weeding you out, and that’s what happened to me. Read moreI’m probably pretty biased, but I have absolutely loved my time here in the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program. There is a reason it is ranked the 7th best anesthesia program in the nation. The faculty have been nothing but supportive. They have challenged us academically in ways I haven’t been challenged before. However, along the way, they encourage us and assure us that they believe in us. That goes a long way.
