Update 1-27-23: 4 STARS overall, 3 for food
As of recently, the quality has taken a bit of a dip. We went a few weeks ago and I ordered a Calzone and inside the dough was raw. I had to cut it open and then send it back and have them bake it more. My wife ordered the meatball sub and the meat balls were very dry. I just chalked it up to just one bad day out of many good days.
Last week we visited again and opted for our traditional pizza instead due to our last visit. My wife also got a small salad. We ordered a large Veggie.
When we received it there were no mushrooms on it anywhere and I never even mentioned mushrooms when I ordered it. So to receive it with no mushrooms was a huge surprise(bad). I spoke with the manager and he came and saw that there were in fact no mushrooms. He opted to saute some mushrooms on the side so we could add them if we wanted :-| The pizza also could have used a minute or 2 more in the oven. My wife's salad came with cucumbers that seemed to have been sitting in the fridge for sometime, not fresh, and some of the lettuce was also wilted.
Here's to hoping that things return to normal someday.
Original post 2021 - 5 STARS overall: In our opinion, this is probably, by far, the best pizza around now. The crust is bubbly, perfectly thin and the whole pizza is just all around delicious. We got the margherita and we couldn't be happier. The garlic knots are big and delicious too. I can honestly say I will not be going back to our previous pizza restaurant. We'll worth the price too.
The restaurant itself has such a great setup as well and we can't wait to go again and actually eat in next time. It has such a great atmosphere and has the New York Pizzeria vibe and look to it.
So happy this place finally opened up. There was little to no wait at all and that's because we showed up early and we still got our order in about 5 minutes.
Others that say they had to wait when they first opened up, judged this place way too early on. Restaurants need time sometimes to get things in order and work out the kinks. They should give them another chance. This is the best place in town now in our opinion and thank everyone there for great service, delicious food and for being patient even when...
Read moreUpdate 10/21/21: Pizza by the slice is now available! Prices have been lowered a bit on many of the items. 😊 So we went the day they opened, and we have tried it a few more times since. They are much quicker at making the pizzas now, thankfully, and the quality is getting more consistent!
Honestly, it just takes a sec to call ahead to place the order so it is ready or close by the time you get there. That's what I like to do!
Our favorite things so far have been Alfredo pizza (ask for extra sauce - yum!) and the garlic knots (make sure you get some dipping sauce!).
They're getting pizza by the slice soon, and I think that'll be a game changer, especially for folks on a budget.
Things I love: Clean Nice employees Dedicated bar area Tasty food Good atmosphere Great patio seating area
Things I would change: -It's a bit pricey. Maybe have a daily special or lower the price of each item by a couple of bucks? -Guest wifi would be nice (lots of outlets by the tall seating areas, but no internet to connect to with my laptop!) -We had one person order a pasta dish and another order a personal pizza once. A tiny complaint, but the pasta was served in a fancy dish and the pizza was served with a paper plate. It would have been nice to have a fancy plate for the pizza, too.
Overall, I have really liked each thing we have tried. The flavors are great and make you crave it again. :) My kids are always begging for me to pick something up from there. I think this will make a nice mom's night out place when the weather is nicer to sit out...
Read moreI get that they just opened. It was also Friday night. Things seemed a bit chaotic. But they are finding their way. We ordered a personal cheese pizza and a supreme stromboli. They brought the pizza out way ahead of the Stromboli. Which was very odd. The Stromboli appeared to have burn marks on it. But the. Again it’s dough in a 400 degree or hotter oven. We dined on the patio which was actually awesome till the lights came on and they were blindingly bright. If this can be fixed to a softer or filtered light the patio will be a great place to eat. The inside smelled of sewage around the 8pm hour. New construction and all, things happen. But it was awful. The food: awesome. I loved the cheese pizza. It is pricier than most pizza places. But it was really good for a cheese pizza. Hand tossed crust. It was thin but not thin crust. The sauce was perfect and what you would expect from an NYC pizza. Cheese was good. A solid pie. I ate all dice slices of the pizza. My wife really enjoyed her Stromboli. Proclaimed how great it was. Took the leftovers home. There was an olive pit in there which almost broke a tooth. But the taste was there. A cup or marinara was served on the side which added an extra layer or flavor. The Stromboli itself was not lacking with filling. It was bursting with ingredients. The service was good. They were responsive and seemed to be in good spirits. Mostly attentive. No weird attitudes. Eager to want to help. It was a good experience and I look forward to them growing and making it better as they find their way. I...
