I wanna start by saying the food was PHENOMENAL! I got the Elotes Chorrados Carne Asada and it was everything I hoped it would be. My boyfriend got an order of Quesa Birria tacos and a cochinada. We were very pleased with the food. The drinks, however, were disappointing. I tried to order a horchata with strawberry agua and was told that I couldn't do that despite there being a sticker on the cooler advertising horchata with strawberry. We were also told we could not order medium, only large or extra large, despite there being medium listed on the menu. The most disappointing part was my boyfriend's Michelagua. Pictured below is what my boyfriend got vs what was advertised on the menu. He just ended up getting a mango agua fresca. He was very upset about it. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, but the drinks and training of staff left something to be desired. It took us (no kidding) almost 10 mins to order because the cashier did not know the menu. As a matter of fact, she told my boyfriend they did not have Michelaguas when he tried to order it and he had to show it to her on the menu. I know this is a very new location, I would definitely come back, but the employees need to be trained better.

First time visiting and I can comfortably say that this place is not worth your time or your money. I have had Tex-mex food way better than this before and for far cheaper. The service was horrible too, all I got were 3 premade items and it took the employees well over 10 minutes to make them and they were all just standing around. The corn elotes has no chamoy, or hot sauce of any kind, and no chili powder. The horchata tastes like it was made with regular grocery store milk was used to make it and it had barely any cinnamon. The strawberry aguas Fresca drink literally just tastes like melted blue bell ice cream. The total of these 3 items was 20 dollars. Honestly some of the worst food, you can find way better for way cheaper. There is literally an el rancho super market in front of this place with way better options and way better quality food items/beverages. 😂😂😂. Anyways don’t buy this food here the employees don’t care about their job and the food sucks. Just park right across the street and go to the supermarket, you’ll get way better stuff there. I’d give this place zero stars if I could.

I recently visited the new Ricos Paleteria location in Fort Worth, and it was an incredible experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that immediately brought back memories of old-school paleterias. The nostalgic decor, with its vibrant colors and classic ice cream parlor vibe, made me feel right at home. The selection of ice cream is fantastic, with so many unique and delicious flavors to choose from. The pistachio ice cream was absolutely perfect. My friends and I also enjoyed the Birria Pizza and the churros, which were made to perfection. The location is clean, bright, and inviting, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or family. Ricos Paleteria is more than just a place to get a treat; it’s a delightful trip down memory lane. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing and nostalgic experience. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors!

First Impressions matter. Walking in, the establishment is very clean and inviting. They do have a lot of options for food and desserts, which would of been great to taste if given the change. But it is poorly organized, ordering line is unclear and confusing causing in other people cutting in front or employees not helping. We waited in line for about 15 min before actually getting to talk to an employee about how to order, when this happened I'm going to guess the manager (Black shirt vs. employees Green shirts) was more concerned about getting our payment FIRST than answering questions about how the items were prepared. We also wanted to sample some of the ice-cream flavors after confirming with an employee that that was ok, and since he was finishing an order we told him that it was okay for him to finish. And well that was about 15 more minutes of waiting because it seemed like he was the only one actually making orders while the other employee and manager were more busy and concerned taking customers money instead of getting the items out. Management should have stepped up to help that young man instead of just standing by...
