Where do I start. Went there for the Tyson fight. Ordered chips, salsa, tacos with a side of jalapeños, drinks and chicken. The service of food was very slow and found hair in our food twice. First came the chips and salsa. Next my tacos. Shortly after my tacos but no jalapeños and not the wings. Requested for the jalapeños I ordered. Waited a long time and then there came the chicken plate but no jalapeños. The chicken plate came andas the waitress was placing it on the table we observed a large amount of hair. So we sent it back and requested a different plate so they would not just remove the hair and send the same plate back to us. We Ordered wings this time in place of the chicken plate. Still waiting on my jalapeños and had to remind the waitress. Finally comes with the jalapeños. Now my soft tortillas were hard and the meat was cold. So I sent my plate back and ordered nachos because again I didn't want them to bring back the same plate. Here comes the wings but no nachos. We ate some wings to where we could see the bottom of the plate and again we see more hair at the bottom of the wings. The waitress even seen the hair. This time we're disgusted enough to just not want anything else. So we tell the waitress to cancel the nachos and that we're not paying for any of the food but the drinks. Also told the waitress that if needed we can talk to the manager. One manager comes over with the waitress and he sees the hair on the plate. I wish I would've taken pictures of the hair on both plates. My hair is blondish brown and it waitress hair was red. I pointed out that the hair was black and could not be mine, the waitress, my boyfriend that has dreads or a waitress. So he agrees to us not paying for the plates but to pay for drinks and the 2 chips and salsa. We only ate one chip and salsa and never ordered the second one. They just brought the second one to us. So I said fair enough because I said we would be happy to pay for the drinks but not two chips. I said we'll pay for one that we ate but not the second one. The 1st not a problem, the 2nd we didn't ask for. I made a comment to the manager that the cook must be a female without a hair net. He claimed all cooks have hair nets and also how it must have been one of the waitresses hair. That can't be so because the second plate has the hair under the food. The only way it could've gotten there is it was there before the food was put on the plate. The waitress left and came back with the second chips removed from the bill and now saying the 2nd manager said we couldn't order anything. We said fine we are scared to order food. We can just order drinks and watch the fight and I work on my laptop. She said he said we couldn't even order drinks and that he didn't even want to talk to us. Wow!! Then speaking to the waitress, she clearly stated none of the cooks were wearing hair nets. Another wow! Considering the 2nd manager was not so accommodating and pretty much requesting us to leave. This place would've been a nice place near our house to frequent for games or whatever but we'll never go here again and I strongly suggest if you do go there check your...
Read moreMy buddy came in from Alabama and wanted to check out a place like this, he doesn't have these over there so I was like "let's go to Ojos, it's the Latinas answer to Hooters but with better food". He was sold on the prospect and although I hadn't personally been myself, I've had a ton of buddies say it's worth checking out and I finally did. This is a place you go for the scantily dressed waitresses, beer and watching sports games. You can tell it gets rowdy here in combination with those things considering I've worked music venues with 2000 person capacity that had less security detail than this place. But it was peaceful for our visit, our waitress was fairly limited in English but I speak enough broken Spanish I was able to order for us and it wasn't a huge deal. Plenty of better English speaking waitstaff were there so if it was an issue, we could've probably just got someone else who spoke English more fluently. The food itself was fairly good considering its not really the star of the show here. I thought it was a bit odd at first that we had to order and pay for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant but the more I thought to myself it's a sports bar above all else, I forgave them and understood if the chips and salsa was free they'd probably go out of business considering how long alot of people stay there just to drink and watch the games. It's not the best Mexican food you'll ever have, but it was respectable for what it was and was fairly priced. Definitely not a bad spot if you're a dude that just wants some Mexican food, be around good looking women and watch the game with having...
