Our party of 3 visited this place on a Tues around noon. It is a small space and there wasn't much of a crowd so we were seated immediately. Our waitress was not rude or kind, more like a whatever attitude.

I ordered a cafe de olla and was a bit disappointed since it was not very good. No biggie, I drank it and we ordered our food. We had 3 gorditas (flour) asado rojo, one gordita (flour) beans with cheese, and the chilaquiles verdes. I did ask for no onions and the eggs over easy. Upon being served, I noticed my plate had an excessive amount of onions and the eggs were way over hard. The lady who I'm assuming cooked the food came over and I explained that the food had onions and the eggs were way over cooked. She responded by saying I should have said "no vegetables" instead of no onions...? As for the eggs, she said that's how they make them. I said fine, can we just get rid of the onions. They redid my chilaquiles and I kid you not, they gave me back the same eggs which were way cold by this time. IMO the chilaquiles did not live up to the hype mentioned in the reviews. The best thing out of our whole meal was the bean gordita.

I have had better food along with better service at other locations. Regardless, we still tipped and thanked them for their service upon leaving.

Will definitely not be coming back or...

I came here on Saturday night looking for good and affordable Mexican food with a friend. I saw the reviews for this place and decided to check it out. Honestly I can't see how this place is doing well at all. The food itself isn't horrible (I got the flautas [$8], which were pretty small, my friend got the enchiladas [$10] which were better), but the price was definitely did not equate to the quality...

This place is very clean, the food is tasty and great prices. Is a Nicaraguan restaurant and the owner is very sweet. That lady will make you feel like you are visiting someone in your family. Has enough space for big reunion or big group, not the same with the parking but they have one handicap spot next to their entrance door. If you haven't try this place, you should!...

100 percent awesome Nicaraguan food. The natural drinks are a must. The Baho was packed full with flavor. The carne asada was again 100 percent all good. Chancho con yuca was delightful. So far everything we have tried here has been enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful Nicaraguan flavors. Please checkout and join my Facebook group page at Making Life Affordable. Thank you
