Everytime I go its like god is among us... These tacos are what I wait for in a life time. They are a life time experience. Now lemme be real because I'm a very hefty child and these boys fill me up from the beans to the 4 delish tacos I usually get. It makes all my troubles go away. There meat is so tender with the perfect about of juices because its not too greasy and not too dry. I love this setting, its not an exact ideal of fancy but I grew up on this place. Its my home away from home. Even though the waiters/ waitress are "not well" in others opinions I feel like you should go for the quality of food for instance everyone is gonna get in a bad mood its inevitable. As for the music, it could be a little lowered down but its a fun and warming that people still have jukeboxes that work. My go to on dates is this because the food there is so Damn good. Personally food is a way to the heart. From gorditas to horchatas I never leave that place dissatisfied or hungry unless it means my hunger for more. They are doing amazing I love the food because its like a work of art. As the restaurant is not a nice setting I wouldnt change anything about it because its like people, we are a work in progress and have flaws. Every restaurant will have a flaw. I feel we shouldn't judge a place by going one time since that day might've been a bad day, its good to get 2nd chances. I say its 5 stars by the food, its...

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants to go to since I used to go as a kid and now go with my kids but over the years this business has gone downhill. First it started with the rude employees with bad customer service. They ALWAYS get my order wrong when I order to go. The food isn't what it used to be, they switched their tortilla's, and their pastor meat went from being sliced from a trompo to just pieces thrown on the tortilla. They stopped accepting cards and only put a sign next to the register so you don't know they don't accept cards until you finish your food and it's time to pay so if you don't have cash you have to either drive to a bank or pay a fee to use their ATM. This place has also gotten dirty and on our last visit we had a roach crawling over our heads. Sadly we will not...

The service was good. No complaints there. I was attended right away and the staff was friendly. The food was not so great though. I used to love coming here, but I don't know if they have changed their cooks but it's not as good anymore. Their chips were pretty meh and not even salted, their salsa in my taste was way too hot to even enjoy. I do eat salsa, but I like to enjoy a kick and not just burn my taste buds. The torta was pretty dry in taste and the meat did not taste as good. Now disclaimer. This review is only for this location. There is another one of the same restaurant by 8th Ave by hospital district that has way better tasting food in my opinion. The chips and salsa still needs...

My husband and I tried San Luis because where we attempted to go eat at in Ft Worth was crazy packed. We where just driving around and found this place. The food was good and had good prices. Our waitress was very nice. I wish they had regular salsa for the chips. All they had was the green and red chili for the tacos. The atmosphere was eh because when we walked in it was super smoky and the window we sat by had a bullet hole in it. That made it really sketchy. The food was good though especially the beans. Not sure if we will go back.

I came here on a Thursday afternoon to grab some food between job sites. The good did not dissapoint. I had 2 sincronizada (one chicken, one beef) with all the fixings. Both were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by just how great the food was. The service was great as well. The restaurant, kitchen, and restroom were all clean. The only downside is that they do no take cash and the atm charges a $3 fee on top of whatever your bank charges us. When I'm in he area, I'll absolutely be back.
