La Abuela Regina Restaurant — Restaurant in Fort Worth

We went because we’ve been looking for a torta, or pambazo, although on the menu and pictured here, they did not have.

We tried the “nachos” and a couple of street tacos... they put some sort of cheese (looked like American cheese slice) on top of the chips and microwaved them. It was gross. Whats worse is that the girl that was there, serving and cashiering, pretended she didn’t speak English until right before we left. My kids don’t speak Spanish, I do. I had to sit there and translate some stuff while she stood there full well knowing she could just say it in English herself. It’s all part of this hateful thing SOME Mexicans (I’m Mexican) do to each other because they feel someone that looks a certain way SHOULD speak Spanish. Will not be going back, or...

BLUF: A very traditional Mexican restaurant hidden in a questionable area. The food was very tasty, maybe a little on the spicier side but overall great . 4.3 out of 5.

Don’t let the questionable parking lot stop you to eat at this hidden gem. Lock your doors , hide your bags and come into this little restaurant that its atmosphere would make you feel at home.

Food is valued great and it was great tasting. Would visit again, kid friendly plates available as well....

worst mexican restaurant i have ever been to im writing this as I sit next to the toilet I got food poising and its been hell I wish i could go back and avoid this disgusting place. I knew something was not right the minute I walked in and the smell of mold hit me in the face. the floors where incredibly dirty and the food was brought out cold but i ws so hungry i still ate it and now here i am. avoid this place...
