It all went down on a glorious Monday afternoon when I strutted into Saltgrass Steak House with the appetite of a lion ready to pounce. And let me tell ya, this place knows how to satisfy a carnivore's wildest dreams! I kicked things off with a bone-in ribeye that could bring tears of joy to a vegetarian's eyes. Paired it up with a Caesar salad and a side of sweet potato fries, 'cause I like to balance out my food groups, you know? That ribeye, oh boy, it was a work of art. It was so tender, it practically whispered sweet nothings in my ear. And those sweet potato fries, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—just like my heart when I'm watching a dog adoption commercial. It was a match made in carnivorous heaven! But that's not where the party ended, my friends. I went full-on beast mode and ordered a brisket burger with a side of fries. It was like the Olympics of meat-eating, and I was going for the gold! That burger, it had more layers than an onion with a secret identity. Juicy brisket, tangy toppings, and a bun so fresh, it could've won a talent show. And those fries? They were the sidekicks that made this meaty superhero shine even brighter. It was a feast fit for a king, or in my case, a slightly overweight jester. And just when I thought my belly couldn't handle any more excitement, I threw caution to the wind and ordered another bone-in ribeye. This time, I went all out with a fully loaded baked potato and yet another Caesar salad. I must've been out of my mind, but you know what? No regrets, my friends. That ribeye was a glorious masterpiece, cooked to perfection and packed with flavor that could make a food critic weep. And that loaded baked potato? It was like a potato sent from the heavens, dressed up with all the works—cheese, bacon, sour cream—basically, a potato party in my mouth! I made sure to snap some drool-inducing photos of these meaty wonders for you to salivate over. Check 'em out, but be warned—they might cause spontaneous meat cravings and an urgent need for a napkin. Last but not least, let's give a shoutout to the waitress who braved my gluttonous appetite. She was a true champ, keeping up with my demands and serving it all up with a smile. I had to show my gratitude with a big ol' tip that could rival a jackpot at a cheap Vegas slot machine. She earned it!

Edit: I’ve come to this location several times. We have always had exceptional service and great food. However, tonight was absolutely terrible! There was no wait and we sat at our table about 7:45pm. It’s Friday so it’s busy but not slammed. The waitress came by and took our drink order. I ordered an old fashioned and water. She came back with the waters and a loaf of bread. About 20 minutes later, I had to flag her down to ask about my old fashioned to which she replied “it’s almost ready”. Finally, a different server brought my drink. Unfortunately, it had sat at the bar so long the ice cube was completely gone (and they use the large spheres so that takes some time to melt). So the waitress finally comes back by so I ask for more butter for the bread and another ice cube. Well, she forgets those requests so my wife flags down the manager to get those two items for us. We finish the loaf of bread and our salads, now the wait is on. We wait, and we wait, and we wait, all while watching our waitress bring drinks to tables near us and not looking at us at all. She brings to go boxes, busses a table, still no acknowledgment. We finally flag down the waitress at the table next to ours and ask for the manager again. At this point, we have been seated and ordered our food over an hour ago! The manager, so busy, he goes to several other tables but does not come to ours. Finally our disappearing waitress shows back up. We ask her “where is our food?” “You have barely acknowledged us!” To my surprise, her response was “well I brought you your salads, right?”. I about lost it on her! I didn’t come to Saltgrass for a side salad, I came for a steak! So now we decided to go to this so busy manager that he couldn’t stop by our table. We tell him we have been there waiting on food over an hour, the waitress has not communicated or checked on us, and we requested him and he ignored us. His reply was “well I brought you butter and an ice cube earlier”. After this we just had to leave. What a waste of an hour and a half to not even get a meal. How disrespectful of a manager and waitress to act like we should be satisfied with a salad and some butter. I’m not one to give one star reviews unless they are deserving. After tonight’s service, this place has deserved the review and lost my business.

Two bad experiences – “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me”. We will not be returning to this location. I had two bad experiences here this month (May 2017). The food is not consistent, hit or miss and the last two times were a MISS (Epic Fail)! The food is unsatisfactory and the service is poor! We sat at the bar on two different occasions this month. Bartender on first occasion was a female, never offered her name and obviously did not want to be there. We had dinner, the filet was ok; the spinach kale salad was not fresh, gross. My husband’s steak was awful; he had the porterhouse, tough and not seasoned. This location is so convenient to our home so we gave it one more try this Friday, May 12, arrived around 3:00pm; sat at the bar with my sister. The bartender was a male . . . he did not give his name. . . You know who you are . . . had a slow don’t care attitude. My husband joined us about 30 minutes later and it took over 30 minutes for them to bring out his order and needless to say it was not good, mediocre at best. My sister and I had the brussel sprouts, they were soggy, oily and overcooked. Her fish was over sauced and just not good. I asked for a medium filet, I got medium well. The server had the manager come take a look, he agreed it was medium well. The steak was returned and they brought another one out to me, this was undercooked . . . rare. The manager did not return to see if it was corrected. I ate as much as I could there and took the remainder home to cook to my liking. :( If you can’t get the steak right at a steak place, just close your doors. And if you don’t want to be a server, move on, do something else with your life or at least fake it for the customer’s sake. This was a waste of time, money and an unenjoyably experience. Next time, we will go to the Grapevine location, where the food is consistently good and the service is 10 times better. It’ll be worth the drive. - Update, (5/18) Thanks for responding. Yes I will fill out feedback form.

First and foremost, the service at Saltgrass Steakhouse was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Our server was prompt in taking our orders and provided helpful recommendations based on our preferences. Throughout the meal, our glasses were never empty, and the staff checked in on us regularly to ensure our satisfaction.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. Saltgrass Steakhouse truly knows how to cook a perfect steak. The cuts of meat were of the highest quality, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. Whether you prefer a juicy ribeye, a tender filet mignon, or a mouthwatering New York strip, the options at Saltgrass Steakhouse will leave you craving for more. The steaks were seasoned to perfection and served with a variety of delicious sides, such as creamy mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.

What impressed me even more was the attention to detail in every dish. Each plate was beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's dedication to both taste and aesthetics. From the perfectly seared grill marks on the steaks to the vibrant colors of the fresh vegetables, every element on the plate was thoughtfully arranged.

In addition to the outstanding steaks, Saltgrass Steakhouse also offers a wide range of other menu options that cater to different tastes and preferences. From fresh seafood to flavorful chicken dishes, there is something for everyone. The menu also includes a variety of appetizers, salads, and decadent desserts that are sure to satisfy any cravings.

Lastly, I would be remiss not to mention the charming and inviting atmosphere at Saltgrass Steakhouse. The restaurant's rustic decor, warm lighting, and comfortable seating create a cozy and welcoming environment that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you're celebrating a special milestone or simply enjoying a night out with friends or family, Saltgrass Steakhouse provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience.

In conclusion, my visit to Saltgrass Steakhouse left me thoroughly impressed. The exceptional service, mouthwatering steaks, attention to detail, and inviting atmosphere all contribute to making this restaurant a true gem.
