The best part was the server (Joshue) and the $7 orange juice. Took my daughter on today for her birthday breakfast, we both had the usual breakfast with fried eggs, cooked hard and well. Her eggs were cooked good, my eggs had runny yokes, I asked the person who dropped our food off to take the eggs back, and I told him what was ordered. Eventually our server came back with a plate of scrambled egg whites. Not sure how fried hard became scrambled egg whites. He takes those eggs back after we clarified what I wanted, which was 2 fried eggs, cooked hard, well and no runny yokes. He eventually returned with some fresh cooked eggs, that the yoke was more runny than the original eggs. At this point the rest of my food was cold, and my daughter was done eating. I said forget it. He sends the manager over, I saw him talking to a lady and I assume she was the manager. The issues I have with the customer service part, is that this lady never introduced herself, she says hello and starts picking up dirty plates. 1. When you approach the table, address yourself, and since you already knew the issue with my food, have some empathy or apologize. 2. I heard about the food wasn't prepared correctly, I apologize for the food mishaps and I will be happy to omit your breakfast off your bill. In other words she wasn't very personable or acted like she cared. Our bill was over $70 without my portion, and again the best part was the over priced orange juice. My $5.50 Gouda grits was cold with the rest of my meal. She never asked me what was my portion of the breakfast, it's all about customer service when people are spending their hard earn dollars. I have never had a issue with a fried egg, hard or well from Cracker Barrel, just saying. For the price you pay, at least get the eggs right, and don't just take the eggs, redo the entire meal, because once the correct eggs are redone the rest of the meal is COLD. In my case they never got the eggs rights, an my grits, hash browns, bacon and English muffins was useless. The wait time and food was not worth it today. Seven mile missed the mark, maybe y'all need to retrain the cooks and what a fried egg, cooked well or hard with no runny yoke is suppose to look like. This place specializes in breakfast, how do you mess up eggs? This was my second and last visit..I arrived hungry and...
Read moreMy wife and I came with a group of friends that I grew up with from high school. My best friend’s wife was on it with the Yelp waiting list for this place. Thank God too, because we all had partied the night before for my father’s birthday. We were discussing at 1:30am about eating here for breakfast at 9:30am.
Thankfully we all were able to get up and made it at the time we discussed. With being on the Yelp waiting list I believe we only had to wait like 10 minutes for our table.
Our waitress so cool and exciting to serve us. She was very attentive to our needs of H20 and coffee! Needless to say I had to try their mimosas and see what the hype was about. My mimosa was delicious but I think the drinking night before didn’t do justice for me and this mimosa.
Let me tell about the menu and food! OMG it’s a lot of food for your tape worm! Definitely be watchful of what you’re ordering. The portions they give you is a lot of delicious food!
One of our friends and his shared three stacks of gigantic pancakes. My wife and I shared a Belgian waffle with Nutella and strawberries. My wife and I could barely eat it because we were so full from our plates and migas!
Their cinnamon rolls are so huge and delicious. It came out fresh and hot with sugar icing dripping from the top of the cinnamon! Yes you will savor it while looking at your friends eating it.
If you’re over 40 be careful because heart burn will creep on you from their delicious salsa! I need I should have taken my pre-game pill for heartburn but I didn’t do it until after eating here. LoL
Parking was a breeze and getting here is a breeze. I am originally from Fort Worth, TX. But man it’s so huge now. I am glad I listened to my friends telling me how to get here because Google maps kept trying to get me to take interstate to get here from Watauga. Crazy right?
My overall experience was a pleasant and joyful one with my wife and...
Read moreVery disappointed. Never going back. Hostess service lacks and the wait list app seemed to be defective. I was 38th on the wait list and checked in when I arrived to let the hostess know my 4 person party was there. We waited patiently over 30 minutes until we got the text notification that our table was ready. Mind you there were four open tables the entire time we waited. I went to the front hostess and let her know I got the notification and she said I was taken off the list. I showed her my text from 2 minutes earlier and she disregarded it. She informed me I will need to go back on the waitlist. As the hostess said that another patron came up and said she thinks something is wrong with the wait list app. Again the hostess disregarded the comment. I explained I don't want to go back on the same defected wait list when I've already been here and saw numerous tables open. The hostess started speaking Spanish to her co-worker. I don't think the hostess knew I also spoke Spanish because of my appearance and last name. I understood her and she was making it seem like I got the text notification and waited 20 minutes to check in... I interjected speaking Spanish and explained that wasn't the case. I told both of them it was literally 2 minutes later. They both looked at me surprised. I guess because I understood and spoke Spanish? That must have been the ticket because miraculously we were seated at one of those empty tables that we'd been eyeing our entire wait. That really impacted the rest of our experience. It seemed like the staff was just there waiting...
