I just at at this hotel for 2 nights. I was very impressed! First time staying at a Tru by Hilton. This hotel looked brand new. The employee said it has been there about 2 1/2 years, but it honestly looks like it was open/built just a few months ago. I was very clean, very nicely decorated, modern. The lobby area had foosball tables, lots of seating, lounging areas if you need it. The lobby desk was great, right in the middle of lobby. It had lots of different snacks, and beverages, even some beer, and Truly's. There's a microwave if you need it, there is not a microwave in the rooms. There's an outside seating area too that is nice. The room itself was a tad smaller than other normal hotel rooms, but it still was plenty big. It was nicely decorated as well, very modern. I loved the decor, I LOVED the shower, it wasn't a bathtub shower combo, just a nice glass shows. It had body wash, shampoo and conditioner pumps attached the wall. Not just the little tiny sample sizes. And it was a good brand, so it was good quality. There was also hand soap and lotion dispensers attached to the wall by the sink. The only complaint I had was there was no housekeeping. Nowadays in these dumb Covid times, hotels usually have a signs that say they don't do regular housekeeping, but if you need it to just let them know. But there were no signs, so I assumed it would be regular housekeeping the next morning. Not that I make a mess or anything, but I just like to come back to a clean room, bed made, fresh towels, etc, when I'm at a hotel. The hand soap dispenser by the sink was completely empty, it even came out of the holder when I tried to squeeze it to get the soap out, so I just set it on the sink counter. I just assumed they'd replace it when they came to the room to clean. But since they didn't come to clean, the handsoap stayed empty. They're large dispensers, so apparently it just hadn't been checked well enough during cleans to see if it needed replaced. It wasn't a huge deal, as the body wash was in the shower, so I just used that. But I really loved this hotel!!! And will definitely stay again if...
Read moreRooms: This may be the worst bed I’ve ever had to attempt sleep on. My shoulders and back are killing me. The AC decibels are crazy. And the difference from the fan to the ac is so intense that the few times I managed to nod off, it sent me into a state of shock, shooting my heart rate up so I couldn’t sleep. The room itself is tiny, which was honestly surprising. The king sized bed was basically the entire room. Shower was decent, no tub to relax in. No drawers or safe was certainly a choice.
Service: Didn’t get room cleaned because I’m a night owl, so no option to have room cleaned at night, while standard, sucks. People at the desk were nice enough. No real interaction for staff to say it they were amazing or horrible.
Location: Entrance is unlit, no signage, no indication whatsoever. Trust your GPS. Right next to a very busy highway, so it was crazy loud all night every night.
This is my first and last stay at a Hilton property.
Edit for the owner: Yes the housekeeping standard of every 2 days is fine and good. I’m just more complaining about the fact that people like me, ones who live at night (sleep disorder, not by choice) don’t really have viable options in your hotel, or most others.
Turn that thermostat to 68 and let it kick on and off. There a loud “click” and then the unit engages the cooling. The volume of it being on is quite loud. Bring in a decibel meter, or just try to watch something on the tv at a reasonable volume, then turn the unit on, you’ll notice how loud it really is.
I understand the room sizes are posted to prevent surprise, but it’s still going to surprise someone when seen in person, they’re small, can’t really change that. Being 6’2 the space felt cramped (tall people problems, world just isn’t made for us).
I want to reiterate I didn’t really have many staff interactions to give a fair judgement so I put an average rating to be fair.
The worst parts were very much the stiffness of the bed and the volume of the AC. I slept maybe 6 hours during my...

Really weird experience here. Visited Hotel as a Guest with friend. We went to room to get dressed for an activity, was there for all of 15 mins and a lady from the hotel staff accused us smoking pot. NO ONE SMOKES OR SMOKED. We’re millennials, We Vape. But, no one had vaped either.
Of course we wanted to prove ourselves So, We invited her in room and showed her the inside of our purses. but, feeling like we had to disprove a lie made us super uncomfortable. We had no idea where the were the accusations even stemmed from. It was embarrassing.
Its like when u go to store and the cashier forgets to take an anti-tag off and the buzzers beep. Even though, u didn’t do anything… u just know the ppl passing by are probably judging u & thinking ur a thief.
I’m not sure if we were being profiled or what her deal was but, it made us feel unwanted and unwelcome. We went to front desk & asked for refund since we had just checked in. The guy at the desk was understanding, he apologized & said he would issue a refund. We decided not to stay in room & went to the Avid across the highway instead.
My friend renting room is a silver member and uses the Hilton hotels exclusively. I also prefer staying at Tru because they are hi-tech.
With that being said it hurt my feelings being misjudged like that & one woman ruined my outlook on the hotel forever. & to top it off, My friend never got the refund. 😔
I never wanna feel...
