They were very nice people while taking our money, we even gave them a 5.00 tip and we didn't eat inside. I used the restroom after my sister and I paid for our meal. We went to the car and waited for the food then returned about 10 minutes later. We had 6 family members in the van so we decided we would eat outside. About 10 minutes or so later my toddler told me he had to potty. My sister gave me the receipt in case they asked for it. When we went inside and the Asian woman in the front said may I help you, I said no we already have our food here is the receipt, my son needs to use the restroom. We proceeded towards the restroom when she came from behind the counter and said it was closed but there was no sign posted and as I previously stated, I had just used the restroom and it was fine. She pulled a signed from the side of the counter and said it was closed. I then asked how long will it be closed, she said 10 to 15 minutes with a smirk on her face. I was absolutely shocked and pissed. Keep in mind my son is trying to hold himself to avoid an accident. I told her we are paying customers and she looked at me as if I was just holding a piece of paper. It was the actual receipt but she was not interested in seeing it. I will NEVER eat there again. She was rude and wrong. I never raised my voice, we just took him to the gas station on the corner to use the restroom. I called and asked for the manager after we returned to the car but he was busy and we didn't want to return to the restaurant and make a scene. The restroom was not closed, it was not blocked off and she only showed me the sign, she never actually blocked the restroom door....
Read moreI was a patron of Tom's since they opened. I've spent a lot of money their feeding my family on special nights. Today my order came out incorrect and eggs was added to an order I specifically asked for it to be omitted due to one of my kids life threatening allergy. When my youngest went to take some of that order to eat, halfway Into to it she mentioned it has eggs in it. THANK GOD my oldest wast ready for dinner. I called and was told to bring it back. Tom graciously apologized and made me another one...the issue was that the woman at the counter argued with me to the death that my order was right and the other box didn't have eggs. I stated this was not the case as mine had eggs in it as well. She wouldn't give in. Had i know. She would treat me this way i would have brought my WHOLE order back. The co tainer i returned specifically had a NO EGG sticker on it and had eggs in it. Not hard to understand when youve made an error.To me it was rude and distasteful accusing ME of being a liar in front of other customers...as if I had nothing better to do than drive back for a $5 plate of food. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN DUE TO THIS ONE...
Read moreUpdate May 2024: I have been a regular here and love to support local restaurants but after the change in management it has been very disappointing. Prices have drastically increased and my favorite Singapore noodles is not my favorite any more. Flavor profile is not same how Tom would cook. With such an increase in price I can go anywhere to eat and get tasty food. My first time here. There's an old lady who takes the order and an old man who cooks. The lady isn't friendly, no smile. Ordered the Singapore noodles. It comes with chicken , shrimps and I think ham. Good quantity and tasted good too. When I ordered my food, I stepped outside for an errand and returned after 45 mins. So I dont know how long was the wait time even though the lady said 15 mins. Lunch time is peak time too. Order early.
