Tommy's Hamburger Grill & Patio — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Met 2 friends for lunch and I got there just after they ordered. They both got the fried catfish so in a rush I elected the same with a beer. Option of house salad or fries and I picked the salad. Me and one other finished our salads right as the fish baskets showed up. She gave me the one with fries and it wasn't noticed at first (fries are under the fish). My friend had already scarfed down 1 of the 3 fish planks before we realized we needed to trade..... Plus... I still didn't get my beer. Decided I would just wait and make sure it wasn't on my check. (She never came back until we had finished). She asked about seperate checks and my friend said him and my other friend on 1 with a Groupon and me separate. She took his Groupon and payment and left. Came back and told him his tab with Groupon came to 6 BUCKS. I asked for my check and she said it had been added with the Groupon and I would need to settle with my friend. It wasn't until after we left that I remembered the beer. Still don't know if I got charged or not. Not a...

Mother-in-law, wife and I stopped in for lunch after visitting the Ft. Worth Zoo. Immediate friendly greeting from Jennifer who told us to sit wherever we wanted. She was fast with our drink order and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We ordered a double cheeseburger, a club sandwich and a BLT. Food arrived in a reasonable time and the portions are HUGE! I had the double cheeseburger and it was so good. Thick juicy patties, not frozen slim patties you get at some places. Fries were piping hot and fresh.

Nice relaxing, casual atmosphere. Nobody rushed us and Jennifer provided the right level of service. Checked on us but not to the point where it would be annoying. 70's music playing quietly in the backgroud. They have outdoor seating as well, but we ate indoors. Just a nice friendly place where you walk in and can immedaiely tell you will enjoy your time here.

Next time we are in Ft. Worth we will have a meal here. Decent prices, huge portions and friendly service from people like Jennifer makes it a great...

My wife neighbor and I went to the forest Park location last night. We arrived around 7:30 or so. They had about 15 people in the place. After 10 min they took our drink order. It was easy water..... the waitress returned about 20 min later to take our orders... after 45 min of waiting our cold food hit the table.. of course 2 of the orders were wrong... and the chips were cold and stail...the waitress was very apologetic and stated sorry we are slammed and only have one cook... I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with mustard pickle and onion.. the burger was half cooked and the bacon was even less cooked... it was so disgusting I ate 3 bites and instantly got sick.... my wife got sick on the way home and my neighbor wound up getting sick when she got home.... I would not Recommend this place to anyone. This place could use some management or someone who pays attention...
