So some good and bad here. This was our first visit here so I didn't have any expectations. The girls serving the food all seemed nice. We ordered our food and everything came out at different times and a few things didn't come out at all.
I got my soft shell crab po' boy about 10 minutes before everyone else got their shrimp, and one of the people in our party didn't get their fried shrimp until 10 minutes after that? We asked several times what's going on with her shrimp but 20 minutes between the first person and last person being served is unacceptable regardless of the reason. We also ordered an extra basket of fries which never showed up.
She said at the end "I took the shrimp and fries off of the ticket for you" I thought that was reasonable being that I never got the fries in the first place. Again, the girl was sweet, but certain thinks are just not okay.
The food quality was good. I got the hot n juicy blend and the broth has good flavor, but the flavor doesn't seem to penetrate to the shrimp?
My last beef with the place, well my last seafood I should say since they don't sell beef, is the OUTRAGEOUS price for Dungeness crab! I get the whole "Market price" on Seafood, but I have NEVER been to a market where Dungeness Crab is $25.95 a pound! I have eaten thousands of Dungeness crabs in my life. When I lived in Washington it was almost all I ate. I have never paid more than $7.95 for live Dungeness crab! Winco, Costco, almost any Asian market you can get it between$3.99 to max $7.99 a pound. The average weight of a Dungeness crab is 2 1/2 to 3 pounds. That makes it $75 for one Dungeness crab! That's beyond ridiculous markup. Don't say "Market price" for something if no market in the world sells it for more than a third of what you sell it for! I'm a capitalist and all for marking something up to make a dollar, but to sell something for 4 to 5 times the "Market" is outrageous. The shrimp were $13.95 a pound, that's close to market value. $25.95 is two streets down from the...

On Saturday, the 26th, at around 2:30 pm, my husband called to make a reservation for a party of 20 at 8 pm. The host/ lady that answered took the reservation and told him that she put him down and that when we arrived, to let them know so they could put the tables together. Mind you; we live 40 min away. So we get there, and my husband goes in to let them know we have arrived. They tell him that they don't take reservations. We explained to the host and the manager on duty, Will, that the person who answered when we called earlier took the reservation. The manager on duty apologizes and tells us that it's first come, first serve. Also, because they are swamped and have ten parties ahead of us, they can't guarantee we will be sat. So now there are 20 of us who made the 40 drive are now being told that we won’t get seated. I told the manager that that was a mistake made on their end and not ours, so we didn't find It fair. We wasted our time and GAS, as we all know that is not cheap right now. He just continued to apologize and say that there was nothing he could do. He said we could order takeout and that only takes 20-25 min. He made no effort to try to come to a solution for their mistake. His attitude and demeanor is not one of a GM. I understand that things happen and that they were busy but we did not feel like he cared whatsoever. He told us we we can order takeout. It wasn't what we wanted, but after speaking to my family, we all agreed we would order takeout since we had already made the drive. We asked the host, Vivian( who was super sweet) if we can get a discount of some sort. She said she would have to ask her manager Will, the GM if it would be okay; she came back to say that he said no because it's against company policy. Which It's complete BS! We left hungry, disappointed and upset about the whole situation an specially at how it was handled. Or should I say...
Read moreThis has to be one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I went over to the line to make an order, and instead of seating me at a table, the lady told me to go sit at the bench and wait for my order to come in. I asked how come I couldn't sit at a table, they said that because I made a takeout order that they're going to treat it as a takeout order, but I don't recall making a takeout order, I'm pretty sure that I made a regular order, and I never said it was for takeout. After that, the host and the hostess stood there for about a minute and considered whether or not to let me sit at one of the hundred empty tables that they have, and then he just told me go ahead and just sit right there.
The food was terrible, $18 for a pound of crawfish that have little to no meat in their tails. They served it to me in a bag, I had to wear gloves that they gave me, and pull out each crawfish from the bag and just take out the pieces of meat from the tail. They gave me a metal bucket and didn’t even tell me what to do with it, I was there for about 20 minutes eating, and they never once came up to me and said hey you could put the food in the bucket. Whatever happened to plates or bowls? They were rude to me. The entire dining experience, there was no courtesy or respect shown. Never eating here again. I went there hungry, and I went home hungry. Of course it's my own fault for going there, I blame...
