DO NOT STOP HERE!!!! (The positive reviews must be from relatives.) Complete ripoff. $6 for a Hot Chocolate. Tasted like water. Brought to the attention of server. Acted annoyed. Put one "extra" shot of Chocolate in. No difference. Offered no refund. Only two sips gone so it's not like I got any pleasure out of it. Not very hot. Got out to our vehicle. Wife said the $6 coffee wasn't very good either. Very weak. Luke warm. I assume the food is just as bad!!!! In a later review, the owner (after BAD food review) said "please be patient" the are getting their act together. Just how long does it take to get your act together on HOT CHOCOLATE and COFFEE???? Probably wouldn't have left a review if the server was SO discourteous!! 3/26/25 Update: Got a response. Didn't like the fact that I assumed the food was bad since the drinks were bad. I don't think it's a leap of logic that if you couldn't hot chocolate right, the more "advance" food would come short as well. It is based on facts. Also, I find it interesting that you have to "ask" for a refund even when you set the 95% full drink back on the counter after asking them to fix it once...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe burgers are obviously frozen patties from Cysco or something similar. Tasteless, dry, un appetizing. 1 star
They toast the buns which is fine but ours were burnt. 1 star
The french fries were good. I'd give them 3.5 stars.
They also charge some strange Fee. S/C ADV PROGRAM for 87 cents.
And they charge extra for using a credit card which is getting more normal but they don't tell you in advance.
The best thing they have is Blue Bell ice cream.
Edited Review... it's not Blue bell ice cream. I'm from Texas and have been eating Blue Bell my entire life. I know their Chocolate Chip cookie dough. While yours was good, it's not Blue Bell. If it is blue bell, then something has changed.
Also, you say you are a new business, but you're the same owners that used to own the restaurant when it was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would actually give AJ's a two and a half star rating because it replaced one of the best burger places in the area. I paid over twenty-two dollars for a single patty hamburger, with lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. While it wasn't a bad burger it was nothing at all to get excited about. The number 5 meal I'd often get at the previous establishment came with fries and a drink for less than half the price and it was a much, much better double patty burger with all the fixings. It was well worth the trip coming up from the village. Sadly, I can't say the same about AJ's. AJ's, is more in line with the overpriced fare in the area. It is a disappointment for me and I'm sorry to see the change. We've lost a value for money place in Sedona. Bummer....
