Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Four Corners States

First visit. Food was fine but the ordering was inefficient. I'm a very patient person but I have limits. I didn't complain because this is message is for the management. Hopefully they read. I'm not sure how they organize how they help customers. Only one customer in front of me ordering for an army, big order, ok. No prob 6 people behind the counter I'll get service in no time. Apparently only one person responsible for creating the front house order. One other looks like setting up delivery/ pickup, one at the fryer ( not a busy station) and one at the register. Three others that look like they could jump in to help the front counter. No communication for front counter help and the others didn't jump in to see what I would like or assist the large order. After the big order is complete 10 mins later I get assistance from the one young man assigned to the front while 3 others chat. He completed my order efficiently and there I stood for another 5 mins while my food was getting cold, waffle fries not completed. Had someone asked about my order earlier the fries would have been completed with my order. Given 2 trays of food and a drink I was also supposed to carry a table number for the fries on backorder. My hands are full trying to juggle all this and I don't have all my food. No apologies or let me offer you a free drink for us not being able to work your order. I've worked in restaurants. Communication is key and so is teamwork. Have your team ask for help when needed and offer help without being asked and you won't get backed up or create a not so...

WOW! I must say what a deliciously tasty meal my hubby and had tonight! We have been told by several friend that we must try Dickey’s. I used the App to look over all the wonderful options and we decided that the 2 for $24 was the perfect way for us sample our favorite meats all in the same night. This also comes with 2 sides each! The Chicken is wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Turkey is moist and super tender. The Brisket is so full of flavor it melts in your mouth. The Pulled Pork with hints of browned edges was excellent! We choose the Original and the Sweet Sauces, crazy mouth-watering flavor! We solidly agree that the Sweet Sauce wins the night! The sides dishes are equally amazing! Asiago Cheese Cream Spinach, just let that settle in for a minute. This cream spinach is delightfully rich tasting, yet not heavy. The Mac-n-Cheese is smooth and creamy, simply scrumptious. The Baked Potato Casserole has great potato flavor with just the slightest hint of bacon, home cooking at its best! HORRIBLE. We ordered burnt ends and they were soooo tough they were like earring jerky. They were inedible. We have had this meal at dickeys in phx and it was really good, the meat was tender good. They need to learn how to cook this if it’s going to be on thier menu. The kids got chicken nuggets. These are kids that will eat anything and they would not eat these frozen Dino nuggets that were over cooked and hard. We ordered the pecan pie and it cost almost 5 dollars apiece and it was bite sized. We all looked at each other like this was a joke. This meal cost 120 dollars for 6 people which included 3 kids and we would have gotten a better meal for 40 bucks at McDonald’s. I went through door dash so it actually costed additional 35 for service charge and tip. I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner and she directed me back to door dash. She said I’d help you but I don’t know how. All she was worried about was getting a bad review. What a bad experience. Will NEVER go to this very expensive for the caliber of food restaurant again.
