Drunken Monkeys — Restaurant in Four Corners States

In fairness I didn't get to experience the food or drink. I took my family in there and yes I had kids with me. My Mother and myself were looking forward to helping our daughter 21 of course try out some mixed drinks to see what she enjoys.

We were questioned on if we were there for food or beer. The reply was both. She stated that people get this place and next door mixed up all the time. The gal that spoke to us Mentioned three times about Mr Egg next door and that their kitchen was not running yet at 12:30. Only after I got fed up and said we would go somewhere else was it added that she meant we could order food from next door and bring it in to store.

I get that not all places want kids in their establishment but mine are all older and well behaved. Just really left a sour taste in my mouth. I am hoping this was just a misunderstanding but everything pointed towards us not being very...

I definitely felt like I was an inconvenience. They were more concerned about their regulars and larger groups. Took quite a while to get the food and the wings were definitely very dry. The fried pickles were good.. they were out a lot of what you wanted. I spent money in the jukebox, but could not hear the music, because it was too low in comparison to all of the TVs that they had going on different channels with sound so it was louder than it needed to be with no focus.. the younger Bartender was more concerned about her looks and getting attention, then to help somebody. Went with friends. Was impressed with the owners who seemed to care that we were well treated. Would have received 5 stars but the draft beer that night was flat and had to switch to bottle beer. They now have Buzztime trivia/poker. UPDATE: Have been back several times since my initial review. Each time we have been well treated by Tony and Janelle. A couple of hiccups with Buzztime but NOT their fault. The regulars appear quite friendly and if the bar is full will try to make room for you if you desire. This place is hands down much better...
