Samurai Sam's — Restaurant in Four Corners States

Yikes… I hate giving any bad reviews, especially 1 star reviews… but I really wish we looked at the reviews before coming here. Like one of the previous customers said, we got a yakisoba bowl ($1 upcharge) with chicken and steak (12.99 for a large (it’s not a large portion)), a side of potstickers (3.99) and a drink, for a total of $20. Pretty expensive for some of the most bland food I’ve ever had. I really wish it was better, I’m a local and was so excited to have a new place to eat in a place with so few food options. The warshield taco place near by was also terrible, we got two carnitas tacos (no pico) with rice and beans. The beans were served cold- not even room temperature or slightly warm, these little frijoles were colddddd. The rice was slightly warm, the tacos were also slightly warm and I was given pico when I made sure she had it removed, but I’m kind of a baby and just picked through it. 10/10/2025 11:30 a.m. The inn presents itself as a relaxing atmosphere with amazing views. Unfortunately, the service we received at Samurai Sam's leaves much to be desired. We are visiting from another state and have always had an amazing experience here, but today as we made our way to the grill, we noticed three servers simply standing in the kitchen section conversing and ignoring our presence. After a couple of minutes of not being waited on, I asked if they were closed, and a young lady stated they were not and proceeded to continue a conversation with the two workers in the back rather than taking our order. We are happy people and often do not complain, but I hope the servers understand just how much of a negative impact their actions have on guests...

Wow…surprisingly terrible. Best part of the meal was the packet of soy sauce. Ordered the orange chicken which is a very common flavor however it appears whoever made their recipe has never actually had orange chicken. The chicken was overly fried and tasteless. Like a cheap McNugget if even that existed. There was hardly any sauce, which may have been a good thing cause the flavor tasted like it had been sitting in a bottle for years. I went with the noodles, didn’t realize it was an up charge. Imagine ramen noodles but with no flavor packet…and overly cooked until they’re mushy.
