We stopped on our way home to taste their wine, get a bite and coffee for the road. We were treated like we were their friends. Our dog was welcome, and they took a picture of him and placed it on the wall that has a tree painted on with all the photos of other dogs making up the leaves of the tree. The wine was delicious and so was my smoked salmon roll up. There was a lot of artwork from different local artists that was fun to look at.There were several pieces I would’ve liked to have bought. Also the place was very clean. A friendly mom & pop place. We will go back.

My husband and I had a delightful time at this winery. We ordered the ante-pasta, which gave us more than enough food for lunch. After sharing a flight of wine, we decided the Harvest Moon and Sangiovese were our favorites, The artwork on the wall was delightful, and the tasting room/restaurant was cool and inviting on a hot summer's day. Best of all were our chats with the owners, Chris and Lori. They are welcoming hosts, even accommodating an unexpected wine tour with grace. We will definitely be back

We love this place- been coming here for years! The owners are so friendly and happy to share information about all the wines. The ambiance is relaxed and they have seating inside and out. My friend and I love the sparkling pink and our husbands love the La Montana and the Quintosol. All their wines are delicious. You should definitely stop by if you havent tried them!!

I am constantly amazed that quality wine can be made in Arizona, especially at 5000' elevation. We have been sampling wines in AZ for 7 years, and the boutique nature of the operations in the Sonoita/Elgin area makes it a real treat. Not too crowded, down to earth people, and gorgeous scenery. The winemaker/owner at Sunset Ride in Sonoita (tasting room only, winery is a few miles away), Chris, spent an hour or so with us as we went through most of his wines. A lot of Chris' wines are blends of interesting varietals, and most of his wines are 'delicate' in style-nothing with huge tannins, but more of the softer mouthfeels. Good cheese wine. I especially enjoyed his Sangiovese, his Cabernet and a red blend whose composition of three varietals and name escapes me.

The best part of our experience was sitting down with the winemaker and enjoying the fruits of his labor. We left with bottles of his Sangiovese and Cabernet. We...

We've been here a few times, but this was the first time we got to meet the owners (Chris and Lori) and have a chat with them as the other times we were really doing a quick in-and-out to see some of the vendors that come in on the 2nd Saturdays.

We had such a wonderful time. Loved to listen to the story of how they setup the place and how they came about with the wine selection and the different blends. Their wines were very good (and smooth) and they also make some sandwiches that are really good (very tasty).

We highly recommend taking some time to sample their wine selection and if you get in during the 2nd Saturdays you get a bunch more of things to see as they also open the area for other...

Incredible service, and the food was amazing. We did a wine tasting and got the charcuterie board for 3-5 and it was not only a great deal with a wide assortment of food, but some of the best food I've ever tasted. I didn't think I'd like the jam and cream cheese dip, but it was one of the tastiest things we've ever had. The salami wraps with (I think) cream cheese and peppers were incredible. My son got the salmon sandwich which he loved and the wine was very good as well. Mozzarella sticks were very good, too. Thank you to Janet (and Lori, the owner who I later met at the Lavender Festival) for a wonderful day out...
