Taste of Maggie's Cocina — Restaurant in Four Corners States

We’d been driving for almost 4 hours with zero food options in sight. Pulled into a gas station for fuel and spotted this little cocina. Decided to give it a shot, and wow, we are SO glad we did.

We both got the carne adovada burrito (one red, one Christmas style) and they were absolutely incredible. Perfectly seasoned pork, flavorful chile, and the rice and beans were on point. Totally hit the spot.

The owner was incredibly kind and so helpful, especially since we weren’t sure what everything was. She walked us through the options and made us feel right at home.

To all our RV and road tripping friends: there’s plenty of parking in the lot, so don’t be shy about bringing your rig. This place is a true hidden gem and absolutely worth the stop. Support this small business! We only wish they were closer to home so we could eat here...

Finally tried Maggie's and the reviews are right. It's great food and great to-go service... And no mistakes! I loved the slight crunch on the tortilla of the breakfast quesadilla. It created a wonderful texture. The pico de gallo and guacamole that came with it were excellent. My friend raved about the Maggie's Bowl! And the posole was one of the best I've had. The meat melts in your mouth, and the broth has a complex flavor and a perfect spice level that most anyone can enjoy. I can hardly wait to try the pierogis next time. It was my first time in New Mexico and I am visiting from key west. I’ve had plenty of Cuban food there but none of it compared to this. I ordered the Cubano and cafe con leche and it was amazing. I also had a side of the pickled onions and jalapeños. The owners are so welcoming and caring you can tell they really put their hearts into the food. Everything that they make there is fully authentic and made from scratch. If it was possible to give them more than five stars I would. Words can’t describe how good their food is, you just have to go and try it...
