Tldr: Get a panini at the grab and go near the parking lots! It will save you a lot of trouble. Food is not worth the wait. Nor is it worth the money.

Absolutely terrible service!! I was told it would be about 15 minutes to get the food. Served my husband his pizza and said my harvest salad will be longer (already waited at least 20 minutes, probably more) . So far i have waited 50 PLUS minutes with NO FOOD. Husband already finished his meal and returned the plate and is TRYING to find out where my food is. This just wasted the valuable time i have to explore this park.

Edit for conclusion: They told my husband i wasn't waiting long and to wait longer because they are busy. My husband asked for a refund because we didnt have time to keep waiting. They refused, and eventually gave him the salad. I had to eat it as fast as i could because we were now over an hour behind schedule.

After that all the shuttles were full since no one wanted to get off the bus at the food stops since lunch was WELL over. Eventually had to give up waiting for an available shuttle and walk back to the parking lot (almost 2 miles).

Since we wasted 2 hours we had to leave the park and miss the rest of our grand canyon experience as we were driving to nevada and now were behind schedule.

If management reads this get more staff and smarten up you customer service and business skills.

I live on the other side of the continent and this was truly a once in a life time experience for me and this place ruined it for me.

Review of the salad: not that great as the vegetables were under cooked and bland. Food was not worth the...

Not to complain, but sadly the food experience was not good. Came in after hiking 12 hours, ordered a pizza on the computer screen, got my receipt and waited for 30 min before someone mentioned you have to take the receipt to the counter where they give you a buzzer for your order. I had no idea you had to do this. Nothing was marked or mentioned to do this. Waited another 30 min before going back to the counter to ask about mine and another friends pizza. Apparently they were made and sitting on the counter. They were stuck to the plate where one of the chefs said sorry and he would quickly make a fresh one. They were understaffed, and just had a group of 30ppl arrive so nobody could check the pizza area. This was definitely overlooked and frustrating. Pizza was very mediocre, not flavorful, and probably cooked on frozen dough. But I was starving and needed food. Took it to my room and didn't stay. Lots of help needed to make that run smoother. Never even got a buzz when it was cooked. Took 8 min. To remake. On a different note, there are lots of food options, it's a cafeteria style place with other areas..a tavern or desserts, dining. You have many options for food. This was my first experience as I've never been here before. Lots of room for...

Delicious food and pleasant staff! 100% recommend the Yavapi Tavern if you're staying inside the village or if you're passing through. The Pueblo Burger was very well seasoned and was delicious. The portion was great and very filling! The Warm Harvest Salad with Chicken was suggested by the staff and was absolutely delicious. It was a full meal, and it had a lot more than what the menu description says. It included black wild rice, corn, celery, wheat (I think), kale, fresh pomegranate seeds, roasted Squash, roasted sweet potatoes, and onion. It was well seasoned, and dressing was delicious. The only little recommendation, in my opinion it was a bit too oily. It was so filling that I had to ask for a takeout box. And to my surprise, it tasted as delicious the next day. This will definitely be a meal to remember for us. As for the drinks, I ordered the Warm Apple Pie, and it was like dessert in a cup! Thank you for the amazing food and...
