I came in for a quick solo brunch on my day-off and this place was what I was looking for! Service was quick, there was outdoor seating, and the food was okay.
The staff was super accommodating and attentive from when I walked in to when I left. It wasn't busy when I was there on a Friday morning around 11 AM.
The inside of the store was clean and the menu was easy to read. They have tables and a high-top bar inside and 6 tables outside on their little patio. It is tucked off behind the shop / away from the street, so it was super calm, shaded, and enjoyable. The tables were distanced enough from each other so I definitely did not feel like I was sitting on top of other people there.
The coffee was great (bold in flavor and not watery), but I wish my waffles were made to order / hot - the bacon and sausage I had were. Everything tasted great! The portion and quality of the food matched what I paid for.
I will definitely be coming back and will try something...
Read moreI've never given a bad review before. We stopped here on a long bike ride to fuel up. We ordered a coffee, shake and some pastries. After patiently waiting for 30 minutes until people that had ordered before us got their breakfasts, we asked if we could at least already get the pastries already, which didn't need to be prepared. We got just the shake and more people that came in after us got their orders that looked similar to ours. After asking again, the server set aside our pastries but still didn't give them to us. Meanwhile I was seriously starving for calories and caffeine. It took another 10+ minutes before we got our pastries and coffee. The coffee was supposed to be a cortado, but it seemed like just a large coffee with steamed milk in a large paper cup. What was supposed to be a quick coffee stop ended up taking over an hour. I can't recommend this place unless you have a lot of...
Read moreYou walk in(to the back door) of the cafe to a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately that’s one of the few things this cafe has going on. We were not greeted upon entry and ignored when kindly departing. We ordered a western omelette, açaí bowl and a small ice coffee for $35. The girl at the counter was unfamiliar with their own menu. When sitting down the table was clearly never wiped down from the guest before us. The food came pretty quickly but wish they took more time to cook everything. The omelette was filled with 2 pieces of deli ham, a little bit of cheese and raw peppers and onions. The coffee was undesirable. The açaí bowl however was quite good. I would only recommend this place for a take out açaí bowl. If you’re going for breakfast I’d recommend a diner down the road where you can get a better quality breakfast for...
