Hit or Miss. As a resident of the town for many years, our family would order from this establishment semi-regularly. Most times it was hit or miss, as far as the quality/accuracy of the order. There are not many pizza places that deliver in Franklinville, as is the main reason we would order from them. This last order has sent me to post a public review as it will be my final order from them. First off, I placed an order a couple hours ahead of time to be delivered at 6 p.m. I imagine the kitchen started preparing my order immediately, as the food was completely ice cold when it arrived at 6:22. I called at 6:15 to inquire why my food was not here as promised at 6 p.m. and was told it would be there "any minute". I am already upset that the order was late, as it was requested at 4:21 p.m., to be precise. When the order arrived, not only was it late, but the driver then tried to collect the money for the order from me (which is always paid for online ahead of time). We then discovered that the late food was ice cold. I immediately called and explained the situation and displeasure, just as I am now. I was told "sorry, I will tell the cook ( that alarms me, so he can spit in my food the next time my name comes across?) and I will take a couple dollars off of your next order." First of all, there will be no next order to take a few dollars off of. This is the last straw. Second, not one attempt was made to correct the order. Thirdly, I'm fairly certain that this establishment doesn't care about keeping a local regular as a customer because there are really only a few places in this town to get ok pizza from and they were one of them. From now on I will take the trip to Angelo's in Wash Twp or Gia Nina's in Woodbury because at least I know it will be correct and way better than anything made in this town. Good riddance and shame on...
Read moreThe Food was Excellent, although a little Pricey for this type of restaurant. Service was Okay { our waitress was attentive but didn't smile once } although there was another waitress on duty and she had a smile on her face everytime she passed us.
[ now for the lengthy part of my review, sorry I hope this doesn't bore you but I feel it's important to state ]
When my wife ordered her meal { Baked Gnocchi } the waitress asked what kind of sauce, although the menu didn't say there were options, so I guess she saw the puzzled look on my wife's face and she rattled off the different choice of sauces. My wife chose " Blush ". When we got the bill my wife's entree was $2.00 more than the menu stated. So when we questioned the cashier we were told it was because we requested a different sauce. We we're never told that there was a extra charge plus we didn't ask for a different sauce the waitress asked her what she wanted. The cashier was nice about it and offered NOT to charge us but that wasn't the point, if they do this to every customer it's NOT RIGHT, plus how many customers don't check there bill, just pay it, I guess maybe that's what they are hoping for.
Not sure if I'll be back or not ..... overall rather...
Read moreJuly 1st ... Ordered the Pasta Rockefella .. This was my first time ordering from them. And let me say the only reason why I ordered out is because im in the hospital and missed dietary to order dinner. My wife asked what did I want to eat and I said pasta. Called to tell them that all the seafood that came with my order was extremely overcooked ... The first employee asked me a few questions and transferred me without notice. Im assuming the seconed employee was manager or possibly boss. I explained that everything was overcooked but the linguini he said and I quote "Everything comes in fresh" I said and im sure but its does but the seafood is extremely over cooked. The salmon dry, the shrimp and scallops are chewy. He said and I quote "Well I'm sorry" then silence. In return I said me too. And we hung up. If its one thing I hate is spending money and it becomes a waste. So im still hungry and out of $25. The correct thing to do as a business would have been too offer an apology and some type compensation. Whether it'd be a discount on a future order or a fresh platter if brought back, but hey my $25 didnt break thier bank just mine annnd Im still hungry. My pepsi was...
