Ordered a large chicken cheese steak and was very disappointed in whatever type of meat they used. The girl that took my order told me it was shaved chicken and it was not. It seemed like some sort of chicken by product. I tried to find something positive about the sandwich but could not. Chicken "meat" was inedible, roll was dry, and the sauce was burnt and no flavor. I fed the mystery meat to my dog and threw the rest away. I'll def not be returning.

A bit of a diamond in the rough, but you can't always judge a book by it's cover. The chili dogs are decent, but would be SO much better if the dogs were flat grilled to a well-done as opposed to being half-done on the roller grill. Up side is the cheese and chili sauces. The cheese is an aged smoked cheddar sauce and the chili was thick and meaty. The made-to-order breakfast sandwiches are to die for though. Definately a good morning stop.

This place goes in the category "don't judge a book by its cover". Their sandwiches are fresh and of good quality and made to order. The place is so good, we actually came here two days in row!

Only stopped b/c the bagel place I buy bagels from is closed Mondays which I forgot about en route. I know this place gets a lot of hype by locals and positive feedback. I could see why to some degree in that Cindy’s does have some authenticity about it but I also think that presumed authenticity has much to do with the fact that the area is extremely rural and there isn’t much else to compare it to. The bagel sandwich was good, the people are friendly, but the main point I want to emphasize is that what this place truly needs is a good deep cleaning. From your 1st step into the building to the ordering counter area, all 3 dine-in tables, the bathrooms, all of it need a thorough cleaning. If you aren’t someone who picks up on the dirty vibe, you’ll be fine, however if cleanliness is important to you, you will notice it all and be turned off by it. Also, the coolers that store the drinks are just as filthy. The liquid in the orange juice bottles appeared cloudy which alerted me to check, and had an expiration date of December 2023, so, about a month...

Saw someone leave a 1 star review after going for years and getting one “only okay sandwich.” Saw another full grown adult complain about the quality of their ham and cheese sandwich order. Imagine being an adult and ordering a ham and cheese sandwich, lol. A wonderful, caring individual who puts a ton of pride into each order owns this store, and kept the doors open and lights on throughout the pandemic. The quality is nothing but top tier on every order that gets put out. If you have anything negative to say, shame on you for looking for hand outs and slandering a small business owner.

I’ll take a...

We stopped here during the pandemic on our way to hike the Lehigh Gorge. With no local convenient store spots (save for a Subway in a gas station) we chose to roll the dice and WOW, what a great choice! Friendly curbside ordering, very affordable and fast service, and we ate some of the best sandwiches we have ever had atop the Jim Thorpe overlook. Get the smoked turkey! They take cards as well, which was great for us dumb dumbs traveling with no cash. Thanks guys, you really made our mountain lunch super special! We will...
