Gyro Station & Grill — Restaurant in Franklin

Man am I glad I stopped here for lunch. I’m in Franklin just for the day and tell you what, this was the place to be. The flavors, the price, the service is all just awesome. I had the gyro shawarma and it tastes fresh and delicious. It seemed to have a mix of grilled and fresh veggies inside that has a unique play on the flavors and the tzatziki is spot on. The pita was warmed up and soft to bite through. The fries came out hot and crispy and was a great filler. For 13 bucks (with a drink), it’ll fill you up and some. The two guys behind the counter are hustling as folks keep trickling through. I can imagine anything else from their menu is gonna be spot on. It’s also neat they’ve turned an old garage into their restaurant and has a cool feel to it. Don’t miss out by skipping to eat here!

There was only one employee and he did everything. He was young, energetic, incredibly friendly and polite. The food was excellent! I ordered the falafel. It looked exactly like the falafel sandwich on their menu. I have been searching for a great tasting falafel since I moved from the San Jose, California area. This falafel sandwich exceeded my expectations. My husband ordered the gyros and loved it. We also ordered Greek salad and grape leaves rolls (dolmas). All the food we ordered was great tasting. We were traveling through downtown Franklin, Kentucky and were so glad we stopped here. I had one of the best falafel sandwiches I've had since I left San Jose, California. It was authentic and exceeded my expectations! My husband had the gyros and loved it. We were impressed with the chef. He was a one man band and did everything deliciously and quickly.
