Today when my daughter and I ate lunch at the Asian Buffet, their usual floor sign was near the checkout, at the front entrance. They advertised adult lunch price as $9.99 and dinner $11.99. After we chose our food and began eating, the hostess brought our ticket to the table. I noticed she had charged us for dinner instead of lunch, so I told her that she had accidentally rung us up at the dinner price. She told me they were charging dinner price all day because it was Valentines Day. I then pointed to their sign and told her that it wasn't kosher to charge more than their advertised price and that nowhere was there a posting about charging Dinner prices all day today. Their sign is a dry eraser board...they could have easily posted the correct price! I also mentioned that there didn't seem to be anything besides lunch items on the buffet during lunch today. She made no offer to correct the bill and instead, just shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry". The restaurant made a lot of extra money by overcharging customers today. There was a table of at least 10 men. That one group would have been overcharged $26.50. The food tasted fine but I do not agree with blatantly overcharging. May not be doing business...
Read moreI give this a 5 stars cause just got down here from driving from Chicago and met up with family cause we needed something to eat. Unfortunaty I had my little boston terrier with i didn't know if they'd allow her in to but couldn't leave her in the car cause it was way too hot out. She really is my service dog and she goes everywhere with me. Normally not out to restaurants though. Prada had never been in a restaurant before but I knew we needed a booth to sit at so she could sit under the booth so she wouldn't be a problem and where she would be good though. She loved the tiny fried chicken because she was being such a good girl and not a menace to anyone else. Thank u for allowing Prada in when I had to bring her in so she wouldn't die if I had left her outside. Although I do have a very well trained dog all at the same time. Thank you. And next time we are in Franklin KY we will be back but without Prada this time. Thanks again for...
Read moreI made the mistake of going here late in the afternoon. Most items had been run out what was there had been sitting for a while. What was there tasted good but was dry from sitting. Service was non-exisitent as the workers were communed for a break together. $20 plus tip for me and my 8 year old daughter to eat on a buffet that wasn't fully stocked. Our server checked on us once and we had a pile of 5 plates on the table when we left. Having spent 30 years in the restaurant industry the one thing that was preached constantly was same level and quality of service for the last customer as the first. That goes for the ones in the middle too. It may be worthwhile during peak hours but i would avoid...
