I have always loved JJ’s. My coworker and I will usually eat their stew a few days out of week for lunch but after my husbands latest incounter with them I am very disappointed and will no longer be buying into their business. They handed my husband a bag full of stew and the bag broke, spilling the stew everywhere before he could even get it out of the car. When he took the broken bag and empty styrofoam cups back and asked about getting it replaced that said, “Once it leaves the parking lot, it’s not our responsiblity.” Which, to an extent I can understand but when you have a man standing in front of you with stew all over himself showing you what happened, in a small town like Franklin, how can you just say no? Where is the customer service?

Read moreI've been going to this BBQ shack for 30 years. I haven't been there in 3 years and went back over today, boy was that a mistake. This is the worst bbq I've ever tasted as a matter of fact it tasted like feral pig full of every known disease. I will take the 21.00 lost for this chopped up mess that went to the dog but will contact the IRS Monday morning to report the only cash payments and the health department to report my suspicions of the feral pork being served here. People this stuff was put in a blender and chopped up and swimming in water with enough sauce on top to chock a maggot. Stay away from these crooks, you'll be better off eating...

We rode our bike an hour and half from Alabama to try it out and it was well worth the trip. One last thing the prices are great as well... 2 sandwich 2 chips and 2 teas was...
