Nashville Pizza Company — Restaurant in Franklin

Our family rarely get the chance to get out to eat as a family. So we were really looking forward to this. At 5:50 we put our order in. Come 6:40 our waitress (who not once has been back to our table since taking our order to see if we wanted anything to drink-eat..) came up to us asking what we ordered? We reminded her. She had the look on her face that screamed (I forgot to put the order in). Come 7:00 I looked around and noticed everyone else in that restaurant came In after us and were already eating and drinking (which we still were not). When I approached the bar, the manager who looked to be 16 yrs old. Once I addressed my concern he ran to the back to look into it. He came back to tell me its going to be another 40 minutes. I then informed him that they must have forgot to put our order in because everyone else in the restaurant that came in after us were already eating. A woman standing next to him snapped on me and said "we didn't forget to put your order in!!" We are busy!! His response was also "we are clearly busy". Sooo, not only did you forget to put our order in, but now you feel the need to yell at me and insult my intelligence by lying to me?? He then gave me a cold kids pizza with hard cheese that has been sitting out for probably several hours and said "here, this is on me" LOL, really?? You first forget to put my order in, then I get yelled at by a employee and then you feel the need to insult my intelligence by tying to lye to me and last give me a plain cold kids pizza and think its going to fix this? Being honest and professional I would have had respect for. That would have fixed it. People make mistakes. I get that. There is no excuse for lying though or yelling at a customer that just wanted answers to their questions. Go somewhere else to eat. To a place that is ran properly and is organized. That isn't ran by a kid that just got his drivers license and where they hire waitresses that are over the age of 14. Me my wife and our three kids spent over a 1:15 minutes there and left there the same way we came in. Looking for a decent dinner to have with one another. My family ended up eating MCdonalds together as a family this night. At least they wont yell at you or lie to you when they make a mistake or last insult you by give you cold food that has been sitting out for several hrs thinking its going to fix it the problem. The pizza was one of the worst pizzas we've ever experienced. My 2 boys didn't finish one slice. The pizza was overcooked and tasted like a 2$ frozen pizza. The crust was very thin, hard and crunchy so it crumbled when you bit into it. The sauce was barely enough to give the dough a red tint. The cheese was almost nonexistent, just enough to sort of bind the toppings. My wife ordered a meatball sandwich that literally came on toasted sandwich bread. The waitress was very unpersonable and seemed to be in the wrong occupation, better suited to a cubicle. We have traveled and lived all over the U.S. and for some reason the Nashville and greater area has the worst dining out options and quality of food compared to any other large city we've experienced. From doughnuts, to Mexican, Italian, Thai, Indian, Greek, Persian, Chinese, or American steakhouse, the options are horrific and more often extremely disappointing for lack of quality, organic options and poor...

Got a coupon in the mail and thought we’d try it, especially as we love supporting local and are always looking for something we can make regular. Staff was not very welcoming. Server came and gave us water and menus, then walked by us several dozen times dodging eye contact and would no longer acknowledge us, despite us trying to get any staff attention whatsoever. Other tables that sat down after us got service. It was so bizarre. The place was also filthy. After over 20 minutes of getting nowhere, we left, having had no food.
