The crew here are always kind and courteous. This location is a great option for an outdoor style picnic lunch as well. When I'm having a particularly tough work day, I will come and order food from the picnic tables outside. It recenters me every time and I feel the stress from my work morning melt away. The new BBQ themed menu items look great. I am having the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, but they also have a version with a hamburger patty! The other item is pulled pork BBQ totchos 😱😱I will definitely be trying those on a day when I don't have so much work ahead of me lol. The BBQ sandwich is a mess but in a truly wonderful way. I ordered extra sauce on the side because most places that serve BBQ sandwiches only give you a little dollop of sauce. This sandwich is sauced up and ready to go. Sonic is a great place for fast food w/a throw back to the 50's car hop days, where they bring your food to your car window. They're service is super fast too. You can eat there in your car, or at the few picnic type seating in the front of the store or you can simple take your food to go. We don't eat it often as there's not much if anything, for healthy food. Every great now & then we go esp for the "fair" type foods of corn dogs, onion rings (battered in some slightly sweet batter but still salty like onion rings), tater tots w/ chili & cheese, and those dessert cinnamon dippers w/cream cheese icing are to die for. Typically a good Sonic, as far as fast food can go. My only complaint is, over the past year that I’ve been a patron of this particular Sonic, I tend to come in the mornings at like 6:45-7am, and I swear it is always the same person by herself serving 15 cars, so obviously, we have to wait - even if all I’m getting is a coffee. I’m just not sure why, in a year, there hasn’t been a change to help the opener out and limit customer waiting in the mornings. I’ll say she is usually very friendly and does the best she can, but it’s very obvious she is being rushed, and I think this location would have a better morning experience if it altered morning...
