2 Star service. 4 Star food. 5 Star margaritas.
Let's start with the good - The food is very, very good. Hot and very tasty. Good size portions. The salsa and chips were fresh. The margaritas are some of the best I've personally had. Truly phenomenal margaritas.
The bad - First off, I would have rated this place 2 stars if it wasn't for the food and drinks bc the service was some of the worst my family and I have experienced.
We came in off the trail near the Pinkerton Park. We had our 3 year old with us and we were hot, thirsty and ready to eat. The hostess sat us close to the host stand and the server who was suppose to get our order most definitely watched as we were sat. We waited. And waited. Almost 10 minutes with no chips, salsa or service of any kind. My wife got up and talked to the hostess who apologized and finally brought that server over to us. He said, I'm sorry but I'm not serving this area. Let me move you to the bar. Mind you we still haven't had any water or chips yet AND we have a 3 year old. Did the server expect the 3 year old to sit at the bar??? Right after he said that to us, another server came up and said, Don't worry I'll get them. Which made us feel like we were a bother. Anyways, this new female server took our order without writing anything down. Some servers can pull this off. This server did not pull it off. She forgot items. Which made our order take even longer. Even... LONGER.
Look, my wife and I worked in the restaurant business for 7 years. It's where we met each other. We understand serving and hosting. Tables being sat, short staffed, rotation... etc. We've done it. This isn't an issue of being short staffed. This is an issue of negligence. Because, once we had service, the service was still very subpar. I couldn't believe it.
We ended up ordering 2 entrees (3 year old ate off our plate) and 2 drinks. We were in there for over an hour. That's how long the whole situation took. Truly unbelievable.
I highly doubt we will be back.
Again, I'll say the margaritas are phenomenal. The food is really good. Chips and salsa taste like someone made them with care. And then... you have the service. Some of the worst service we have experienced. 3 Stars which should be 2 Stars but I give the benefit of the doubt a bit bc staffing is still short and maybe it was an off day.
Oh, and let me finish by saying this. The male server who couldn't serve us bc we weren't in his area and wanted to relocate us to the bar after we had already waited almost 10 minutes for someone to talk to us... well, that server ended up chatting it up with the hostess while we sat at the booth right behind them. He couldn't help us, but he could help himself to some flirting with the hostess.
I won't be recommending this...

It was big movie night with my friend and girlfriend on Saturday night. Usually we like to pick our usual big food spot before such movies and pig out on some great food, but we wanted to try something different this time around. I searched on google best Mexican restaurants in Franklin and first option that pops up is Pueblo Real Mexican Restaurant. I relayed the spot to my friend and we headed on in for what I expected to be another average Mexican restaurant in local Nashville/Franklin area.
Every Mexican restaurant usually starts out with chips and salsa which is what we were greeted with a few seconds after sitting down (talk about speedy service) we searched through their drink menu and food menu and me and my girlfriend decided to start with some margaritas, Guava frozen for me and strawberry frozen for her. We then continued to put in our food order as time was crucial since we sat down at 8:15 and awaiting a 9:45 movie.
For the last 16 years I've lived in Tennessee I usually expect your average Texmex food but boy oh boy what we ordered was beyond what I've ever had living here. I ordered the Texas Burrito and 2 tacos Al Pastor (one of local favorites) and ladies and gentlemen the food came out so fast, fresh and exquisite looking we dug in this food without a single word said through our entire meal.
At some point before dessert one of the managers on the floor was doing some walk around asking the customers how their meal was going and I had to stop him and immediately open with: "this is literally the best type of Mexican food I've ever had in my 16 years living in Tennessee" He appreciated my comment and gave us some quick fun facts about the restaurant and specials and events they hold on certain days and suggested we sign up for their loyalty/rewards program up front where you first come in to the restaurant.
Long story, yes iknow but this was a necessary one as this is definitely going to be the #1 spot for me and my friends to eat out at before our big movie weekends. I definitely 1000% recommend Pueblo Real Mexican Restaurant because I don't think they have "real" in their name just for looks this is the big deal and jewel of Franklin/Nashville can't wait for our second time back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo Iāll start by saying that this was one of my favorite restaurants food is good, prices ok and the service is usually good. That being said the management of this establishment should pay attention and you the public too. This is a case of one bad grapes can spoil the whole bunch. On the afternoon of March 22nd 2022 approximately 3:00pm, my wife and I had to cut our lunch date short due to a very disrespectful employee named 36 Jose. We started our meal as we normally do with our favorite appetizer, the steak nachos and mango agua. We normally order only one because we enjoy sharing and because we aren't able to eat two portions. First observation Mr. Jose snobbed at us and walked away after we placed our order. After specifically ordering only one drink (in both Spanish and English.) He brought 2 glasses. When we tried to get his attention several times he kept avoiding us until we had to ask another waitress for help. She helped us with a smile. Finally after getting him to take back the drink he started to continually interrupt us trying to explain that this drink doesn't have refills. After saying that is not our experience here. He came back again saying that it will cost $1 per refill. When he brought the appetizer he continued to interrupt us saying that we should ask for specific servers because some people give free favors and he is not one of them. At this point in time we started to feel as if we were asking for our meal free. Then we both couldn't continue enjoying our meal and decided to abort or meal here pay for what we had and leave. Photo shows the amount paid, the server's name, the...
