Akita Sushi — Restaurant in Franklinton

Wednesday was poor service. We usually eat at this restaurant once a week. Last night I never got my food. They was busy after we had put in our food order. I sat and watch my husband eat and the watier never enough came back to explained why I haven got my food. When I complained there answer was we are busy to the point of being rude. We had to wait at counter to get our check and his attitude "was we got busy." Marking this restaurant off my list of favorites. All it would have took is for them to check on our table to notice we had been there long before they got busy. Ugh we don't need...

Very good sushi and establishment. Food was very good, establishment is very clean and the staff very professional. Parking is half hazard at best. You can try street parking, behind in the dirt parking lot, across the street parking or hope for best in CVS next door.

Miso was decent, but skimpy on miso paste. Clear soup was tasty. Lunch special for two rolls and three nori wrapped sushi was perfect and clean tasting. Prices for food were fair but declined desert on mochi due to 2.50-ish per piece. Over all, I'm interested in returning to try more.

I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional deliciousness of the food and great service all at a very reasonable price. We had the coconut shrimp, which I usually do not like because it is too sweet, this was scrumptious. The crab rangoons were perfectly cooked and the sauce was yummy. I wish I could remember the name of the roll, but it had beef on top that melted in your mouth and I want to go back and get more!! Worth...
