Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Franklinton

I usually don't even give Popeyes a chance anymore because it is always disappointin. This experience was no different unfortunately 😒 as ALWAYS the chicken is cold and old. The sides are never ever full. Sadly the red beans and rice was 85% rice 15% beans,legit only had less than a ¼ container of actual beans,the rest was rice. My small side of coleslaw looked like it was dish in it with a heaped tablespoon so it was only halfway full,I'm not even kiddin. I was hopin it was gonna be different since it's been at least 6 months (prolly longer) since we ate Popeyes and beings this was a different one in a different parish an a different town we thought let's give it a go. I gave it 2 stars for one reason only. The employees were very nice,helpful, friendly,and even asked if I needed any sauces or ketchup even tho I didn't get tenders or fries. We got a 12 piece family meal. The lady that helped us was the sweetest. Just Im not happy with spendin $40± for dinner for 5 and we only get a small dallop of each side and cold, old chicken. We went around 8:15pm on a Saturday night. I can't recommend this place knowin how my experiences are every single time. Popeyes has great potential tho!!! I order,a box of chicken,with 2 sides,and a large cajun fries. Get home( a ways from this popeyes) ,no cajun fries. I call the manager, Carla,she said bring your receipt, I tell her Ill be in Franklinton ,Friday at 9. She said,Ill write it down, because I'm off Friday. I get here,the guy at the window argues with me,shes not here. I said,yes,I know,shes off today. She told me show my recipt,she wrote it down to refund me.,I do. He refuses to give me my money back. Told me to pull over to the side,till the manager comes. I ask how long?? He says a few minutes. Now,onto the food we did get. I asked for all dark meat,they said they can't do that. So we have to get mixed. The chicken was very dry,even the dark meat. Not to mention,the chicken was as small as Churches chicken. The rice in the red beans,the rice was hard.The coleslaw,no flavor. I went in there with my mom and stepdad about a month ago. There was 2 employees arguing and instead of the manager telling them to stop, she was actually instigating it. Due to the ones in the back making such a commotion, the ones working the front counter didn't even know that we had walked in and had been standing there for a few minutes. This place needs to either get it's act together or just shut the doors. The employees are always rude, especially when you go through drive-thru. It's like they are rushing you to place your order. One time we went through the drive-thru and my mom said that she wanted a 3 piece dark and spicy, the next words out of the lady's mouth was "your total is $$", my mom said that she wasn't finished ordering and you can hear the lady moan, like it's killing her to push more buttons. Out of all the places to eat in Franklinton, this one is hands down the absolute worst.
