Love Sushi is a great, casual sushi spot in the area. The exterior doesn't get you ready for what's inside (a classic "don't judge a book by its cover" tale). At the time of writing, I've been a handful of times. I usually visit with friends for a group lunch and dine-in. For starters, the parking lot needs some work. There are potholes galore, so be careful. The atmosphere inside, however, is not a reflection of outside. It's a well-decorated restaurant, and it's always clean. The hostesses are usually friendly, and the waiters/waitresses are quick and helpful. There's ample seating for big and small groups with spaces at the bar area, as well. The food is superb. I have had a variety of rolls, including the spicy California, various basic, salmon, and tempura rolls, and a few appetizers. I have never had an issue with an order. The food comes out at a great speed, and everything is reasonably priced. On the downside, the air is almost always on, so it can get cold quickly (depending on where you're sitting). I highly recommend the fried avocado. I was skeptical, but it's addicting. Definitely give this place a try, it won't let you down.

I've turned FriYAY pizza nights into sushi nights, and it's been a great change! While browsing the internet for local sushi spots, I came across this place. After reading the reviews, I thought to myself, “Hmm... why not?” I placed an order for pickup and drove over—note that there is some construction nearby. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by a friendly staff member at the counter, which made for a nice first impression. GRUB: - Crispy Rice #1 (Appetizer), 8 pcs: Just okay—not my favorite. It felt like it was missing something, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on what. - Spicy Tuna Roll (Regular): Solid. The tuna was fresh, and while it's hard to go wrong with a spicy tuna roll, this one held up well. - Spicy California Roll (Regular): Very good—refreshing, light, and nicely balanced. Overall: The food was great, and I’d like to try other items from the menu in the future. I highly recommend this spot to anyone nearby or just passing through!

A quiet little place way, way back off Garfield & 14 Mile. In fact, I've driven by a hundred times and hadn't even seen it. Even when headed there I missed it the first time. It's behind Fraser Lanes. The menu is the biggest sushi menu I've ever seen! And well laid out, too. Nigiri, sashimi, vegetable rolls, basic rolls, tempura, a huge list of signature rolls (loved the Habibi & Fireman rolls), and the regular you'll find most everywhere. And something I've never seen before at any sushi place in any state I've been to: fruit rolls. Dessert sushi. Great descriptions for everything, always helpful even if you're not new to sushi. Prices range from $2 - $15 per item depending on complexity and contents. I ordered 2 basic rolls (the eel, my favorite) & the Habibi & Fireman rolls. Total was about $33 pre-tip and everything was terrific. I only waited about 10 minutes for my order to be made, too. I'll will definitely be back here.

I have no photos, no real "professional profile", just a returning customer who falls in love with the food each time I eat there.

Google doesn't let me specify which roll specifically, I recommend and will always recommend the Michigan Roll, one their specialty rolls, $12, quickly became my favorite. From the price being so much more than worth it, it is always amazing. Grilled, smoked salmon; deep fried imitation crab; avocado; cream cheese; all topped with their avocado sauce and another sauce I can't remember the name of? It is my favorite sushi roll by far, and has ruined all other Sushi for me.

The staff is wonderful, only having a not so savory experience only ONCE with a cashier/waiter, in the 9+ times I've ordered in, or take out. Always so kind, checking in every so often when I've dined in.

The atmosphere is very comfortable, and very warm feeling, never very loud, and you can hear the sushi chefs preparing orders from anywhere you sit. TVs facing to the west and to the south have played collages of nature images whenever I've gone, and it makes waiting just a bit more enjoyable if you aren't in the company of a friend or loved one. The lighting is also very warm, and adds to the comfortable atmosphere of this little hidden...
