Excellent family friendly park. I love the durable up-to-date structure of the play area and the seating located within various areas of structure is quite comfortable since the kids are sure to have you there for sometime. The park is "off the beaten path" but still see's a decent amount of traffic. I love that the patrons of the park are diversified and children of all backgrounds can just play and be "one" with just being an "organic" kid and simply enjoy themselves. I also, love that the structure is gated (lower gate) in so parents can somewhat relax in knowing that kids can't be abducted without attention being drawn and brought to a halt. There are also picnic tables available for use at the park which makes picnicking a breeze. Hands down, this is definitely one of the best parks I've frequented and will continue to do so.
Oh...my only gripe is that I wish people would leave their pets home and away from going within the structure because some kids are ALLERGIC to dogs and cats despite them potentially being a hypoallergenic breed/medicated. Likewise, please leave the cigarettes at home parents (shame), it's bad enough that you're willing to place your childs health at risk by exposing them to 2nd hand smoke, but, please don't do that near others. No judgment, but, at least allow your child to get 18 and decide on whether or not they would like to expose their health to carcinogens...just saying. Aside from...
Read moreI love this place but I have one memory I never want to remember and every time I think of fort Fraser I always wanna barf. About two summers ago my brother, mom, sister, other brother, and I all went to fort Fraser and we went on the green tire swing and I looked down because I was scared and after the ride I had no color in my face and I was super dizzy and felt like I was gonna barf. I know that can’t effect my rating because that was my experience and it was also kinda my fault for looking down the whole tire swing ride so I give fort Fraser a 5 star rating and I use to come to fort Fraser all the time when I was little because me and my family always participated in a Christmas party and the vfw post right next to fort Fraser and we would always go back...
Read moreLove this place but it has many many issues, ranging from neglected play equipment and slides to wood splitters to exposed nails to missing safety catches and broken and rusted chains. The “repairs” that they have done in last month have been poor. Slapped wood on with rough cuts and potential splitters. The cuts are top mounted instead of exterior corner mounted as well, very weak. Overall, they keep neglecting this place like they neglect their city and their building and fields and well just about everything else. I recommend playing somewhere else. Some place safer, a place that isn’t trying to gift wrap you a tetanus infection, or even some terrible splinter, or I’ll fall from some rusted warren down chains or a slide about to give away....
