New China — Restaurant in Fredericktown

The ambiance inside is terrible but we only stayed long enough to pick up carry-out. The interior has a musty odor with old cafe tables scattered about. Not old tables as in quaint, but old as in dumpster retrieved and immediately set in place for costumer use. Sadly still, the distaste carried over into their food. It's a small town so they lack any competition. I assume this is why they don't put money into their decor, cleanliness, or into better quality food. We had a huge order (family there for high school graduation) and none of the carry-out boxes were marked with the name of the contents ordered. In the end, it all tasted horrible so I suppose knowing whether you had what you ordered didn't really matter. Save your tastebuds and possibly your health from over-priced, nasty tasting food and just grab some Chinese food from the nearest freezer section of your preferred...

I went here today for the first time since moving here. I had been craving Chinese food and thought I give them a try, I ordered take-out. I walked in, it was clean,welcomly cool,with a pleasant quiet atmosphere, I was greeted with smiling pleasant service..I placed my order off the menu of my favorites,it was done in record time,and I was given my order with a smile and invited to come again. I was done running errands and tired so I went home It was still hot, and the portion size's I was thrilled with, I have enough for another meal, I was in chinese heaven lol it was so flavorful,spicy and just so good! Stopped off for a quick bite while passing thru from the winery to home. Wanted Chinese and thought this place couldn’t be bad. Service was excellent, food came quickly, but fell short as far as flavor goes. Fried rice tasted like white rice with a bit of soy sauce and eggs and I ordered sesame chicken which was mediocre, to say the lease. Hubby got sweet and sour chicken and his sauce was very thin.
