Well we made the 30 mile drive to check this place out after hearing great reviews, so our expectations were quite high, but we were highly disappointed. First I want to Say the Service Was Great with just a couple small things. We were told we were Lucky as they normally had a line out the door so we felt good that we made the right decision ,Then disappointment started When I ordered our Drinks, The Beer I ordered was a Mich Ultra Light, I was told that was the Last Bottle of it, But they did have it in draft ( I don't drink draft unless its the option) Then we were also informed of a fairly large list of Menu Items they were out of, One of those being the Shrimp Jammers appetizers that I really wanted to try, So Oh Well, SO my Wife ordered the Philly Steak Sandwich, and I ordered the Steak Sandwich, both with Pub Chips. The food arrived within reason, But to say we were highly disappointed is a understatement. Mary's Sandwich had 75 percent more bun than filling, and it was just luke warm, and my Steak Sandwich filled the bun a little better, but not much, and the Steak sandwich was also luke warm, and neither were of any type of presentation quality, looks like they got thrown on the basket on top of the Pub Chips. The Pub Chip were very tasty, but they were way over seasoned, and I put salt on everything. So Overall not the experience we were looking for, We will always give them a second chance. And again the Service was Good, and I tipped our Server very good, as the disappointments were not all her fault. I want it to be crystal clear that there's no hate on my end, and our server was wonderful.

Came here with my husband for one of our date nights because he found out they serve Cajun food. Considering my relationship with food began in Louisiana (New Iberia, down by Lafayette), I got excited - especially since they have etouffee on the menu, which is my favorite. We ordered the blackened catfish with crawfish etouffee, seafood gumbo, crawfish beignets, and coleslaw (they were out of salads). I understand there's regional differences in food down in the sportsman's paradise, but my goodness.

etouffee is supposed to be in a thinner, blonde roux, and some regions use tomato in it. What I got was a tomato ragu, almost like a stew, just slopped on top of the catfish. Couldn't taste or feel the crawfish in it at all. the gumbo had no depth, and was incredibly blonde. It tasted and looked exactly like Campbell's gumbo with little shrimp thrown in. And it was sweet? in my experience, beignets are square, deep fried, pillowy donuts dusted with powdered sugar. However! Those crawfish hush puppies were absolutely phenomenal, absolutely stuffed with crawfish tails, and the sauce was divine. the stacked bloody mary was perfectly done. I'm not keen on heavy handed drinks, and out server did an amazing job of measuring out the perfect amount of alcohol and hot sauce. Kudos to her!

The ragu on catfish wasn't terrible, but it wasn't etouffee. That gumbo, however, was pretty weird. I'm not one to waste food, especially when it's pricey, but the coleslaw was...

We sat outside while dining in. The waitress was great, and very friendly. The food we all ordered was boneless wings, ribeye (was a little undercooked but was good), and steak sandwich which is a new york strip. We all enjoyed our food and the kids said the fries were the best fries theyd had ever. The steaks seasoning was great and flavorful.

Update: I have eaten here 3 times since this first review, the 2nd and 3rd time, the food was amazing aside from the 3rd time my baked potato was undercooked, but no big deal the steak was amazing still! My son and I just ate here this past friday, we both got steak, I always get ribeye, he eats new york strip. Both of our steaks had ZERO seasonings on them, I had to use a-1 to eat the few pieces I did try and I never use steak seasoning when a steak is cooked properly, mine which I order med rare, was rare and I couldnt even cut it. Both of our potatoes were not even warm, best part of our meal was the little side salad you get. I spent $50 on food that was absolutely horrendous 😭 No I did not complain or send my steak back, we were in a hurry and I didnt have time to deal with it, I just got a to go box and took my food...
