The building is beautiful inside and out. Great location. Around 20 tables. Family friendly environment. Music was nice and not too loud. Tables were clean and stocked. Service was quick and friendly. No pressure from waitress to pay or leave. Food was ok. The thing that took the trophy was the grilled green beans. Hot and crispy with onions and plenty of grease. 2nd place was the toasted bread. Kinda looked like an oversized hamburger bun cut in slices???? It was lightly crispy on both sides and cloud soft in the center. 3rd place was the mac and cheese. When I got it in a paper cup, became suspicious it was some sort of pre-prepared microwaved dish. Turns out the cup was an environmentally friendly compostable cup and the tray the green beans was served in was the same. Kudos to the resturant for that. Sadly, last place was the pork steak. While I understand that these meats are smoked way earlier in the day, the steak was cold. It definitely was tender and definitely no knife needed. My complaint is that it had the texture and flavor of pulled pork, just steak shaped. It was nothing to write home about. The 4 sauces on the table were great. Love the names/flavors. Clean bottles (unlike other places where you can clearly see bbq sauce fingerprints all over them). Husband ordered burnt ends, green beans and waffle fries. The fries were crispy and delicious. He feels the same about the beans. Unfortunately, the burnt ends were also a disappointment. It was just smoked pork belly. Not crispy or crunchy pieces at all.

I really hate to leave a 3 star review but I have to be honest. First off the atmosphere and decor were top notch. No complaints there. The staff was nice and helpful. But the food (which is why we’re there) left much to be desired. I’ll start with the good. The green beans were awesome 👏 glad I got those. The Texas toast and bratwurst bun were golden brown and very tasty. 😋 The bratwurst itself actually had good flavor and I would eat it again. I’m afraid it may be store bought tho and not made in house?? I could be wrong. The sweet potato waffle fries were borderline bad. Very little flavor and completely overcooked and dried out. I was very sad about this. The brisket, which I was most excited for, was a huge letdown. I never in my life have thrown brisket away, but half of it found the trash. It was also super dried out, with very little moisture, and somewhat of a “log taste”. Thank God for the few pieces that had fat so I could eat it. I will say I dined in an hour before close so maybe I just got end of the day food. I will definitely give it a second try next time I’m in town.

First time eating here, and everything was AMAZING. I really hope that doesnt change like most restaurants do around our area. We were very impressed. We would eat here just about every day though if we could. The brisket was tender and juicy, the green beans were so flavorful, and the mac and cheese is soo good. We also had the wings, both flavors were wonderful. We had two appetizers, the beer cheese and pretzels were delicious, and the cheese curds were equally as tasty! My favorite sauce was the moonshine flavor, the bourbon was my next favorite. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful though I cannot remember her name. The atmosphere was fun and spirited with the tvs and music playing.
