Food was awesome. We were out and about, and wanted something to eat. This place was about 10 miles from where we were, but we wanted to try somewhere we had not already been. It was an hour from closing (they close at 3PM on Saturday afternoons) and pretty empty. We looked at the menus. My husband saw breakfast, and decided he waned some. I opted for a gordita. They had barbacoa by the pound at a reasonable price, I thought if it was good we might get some to go for an easy dinner. Waitress was very polite. I asked whether we could get a sample. She hesitated, then went in the back. Came back to us, and was about to say something, when a man came out from the kitchen and said "I was just kidding! Yes, they can have a sample! Then turned to us, and said he had told her to tell us samples were "on sale today for $4.99". We got our sample. It was yummy. Gordita was quite good, even though the tortilla part was quite thin to be called a "gordita". My husband's "deconstructed" hippo (all the parts of a hippo, but on a plate instead of in a tortilla) was fabulous. Potatoes were fried and slightly crispy, LOTS of bacon that was real and flavorful instead of tasting like greasy wafer thin cardboard, lots of good beans, and tasty chorizo. Came with two flour tortillas the size of dinner plates. You know it is a great tortilla when it is pliable, slightly puffy, and smells very lightly of char. Our house is about 25 minutes away, but i would gladly drive to this place JUST for the tortillas! We got the pound of barbacoa, and they were kind enough to give us 2 tortillas with it (it does not come with tortillas, but you can buy them by the dozen). Also got some VERY mean but flavorful red sauce and a package of finely chopped onion and cilantro. Atmosphere was friendly, laid back. Decor was kitchy. Place looked clean. Waitress was very attentive. All in all very nice. We enjoyed place, people and food. Would recommend...
Read moreFound this place this morning. Although they have only been open about a month, y'all may recognize some familiar faces from the community. I had the Breakfast Mexican Plate. It was delicious and plenty of food. The hot sauce is tasty but not too spicy. I also bought a Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Taco ToGo for my Son. It is huge! Great tortilla!
Give Baci's a try... they are new and just getting started and the food is delicious. Great service in a friendly, welcome home atmosphere. Prices are on point also, considering the huge portions.
I will be returning soon and look forward to trying...
Read moreI love this place and the owner. Great place for the whole family.
The food is authentic. I get the Text me breakfast. Two eggs, beans, potatoes and a meat. I substitute chicken fajita for the sausage or bacon. It takes it to another level. The tortillas taste home made, and except for my mother-in-laws they are the best I've had. On top of that they are huge. You will not be...
