Turn of the Tide Cafe — Restaurant in Freeport

This place is so awesome!! The food is amazing and the owners are just as amazing. I have been going to eat there for several years and have never been disappointed. Personal story: I was about to order and realized I forgot my wallet at home(an hour away). I started to walk out and she( the owner) asked why I was leaving. I told her what happen and she insisted I order what I wanted and just asked that I pay the next time I was in there. This is a great little "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant in Freeport. They have a steam table daily and burgers by the order. The buffet has a good variety that is well cooked. The owner is on site and friendly. As far as I know, they are only open for lunch 11-2.

My only gripe is that food is served on disposable plastic ware. I like to eat with real silverware. But, the food is still good and offered at a very fair price.
