Baytown Seafood Freeport — Restaurant in Freeport

Food was awful and cold. Manager/owner was rude. My husband and my 5 kids went there to eat. We ordered and my potato had sour Cream so I ask for another one and they brought the same potato out again and I said this is the same potato so I told the manager which I believe is the owners mother. I finally got it right and the missed one of the boys hot wings then they both came out cold in the middle and raw. So we ask to just give them a cheeseburger and the waitress apologized and said they will pay for the burgers and put it on a different ticket. First time going in was last week on Tuesday. Called today 6/13/25 to make an order over the phone to carry out. They didn’t have a menu online so I called to see what other options there were. Was told I needed to go in and order from their menu in person. Huge inconvenience in my opinion. If the owners see this or even care about their ratings, thank Ana for not going above and beyond by bringing in a returning customer and losing business. When I went last week, me and my partner were the ONLY ones in that establishment at lunch time (where you’d think it would be packed bc of lunch rush)

We are full time RV-ers and try small places every where we can. Spotted this while from across the street while pumping fuel into the truck. It's kinda hidden behind a McD's and a Church's chicken. The smell from the outside and all the local plates gave me a clue it would be good before we entered. I was not disappointed as we were seated right away, and a very nice young lady was quick with drinks. We had the Gumbo, which was very nice. I had the snapper which came with roasted vegetables. It came with several large shrimp!...EXCELLENT!. My wife had a catfish filet and that was also very tasty....
