Outrigger's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Freeport

Food was good but the service was very inhabitable. Was waiting on a fishing boat to come in that our family went out on and docks on the old brazos outside the bar/grill.we had dinner and from the moment we arrived we were met with horrible attitudes almost like they didn’t want us there. Walked down to the dock and greeted our family and then proceeded to our vehicle in the parking lot. While I was buckling up my baby girl the lady in the food truck was mean mugging us like I just didn’t spend 70$ there like I was just parking there to park. I waived at her because she was staring with her hand on her hip and she wasn’t being friendly. The waitress warmed up a bit after we were overly polite and seated but we felt it was ridiculous especially being locals. So, in the beginning of June (2023), I was visiting the wife's hometown of Freeport Tx for the first time. She booked us a place in an old downtown district at some lofts. Around the corner was this gem. Stopped in on a whim during an afternoon, and even though it was during an off hour, the service was quick, and the quality was good. This place is great. I loved the atmosphere! If you are a local its a great place to have a few drinks with friends after work. I met some old co-workers after visiting the area for work and had a few drinks and AMAZING shrimp!!!!
