Bronco Billys Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Fremont

My family and I are used to the Hayward Bronco Billy's by Cal State East Bay....THEY are delicious. So naturally, we thought the Bronco Billy's in Fremont would be just as good, but when my mother brought home our favorite Chicken Coupe Deluxe, we were all very sadly disappointed. The chicken was almost nonexistent, and what was there tasted old, including the cheese. The bread was also stale like the pizza was sitting out for hours. I know it sounds like I might be making this up because I am talking about each ingredient. I am not exagerating in any way. The whole pizza itself was a big disappointment. My mother called to let them know that that the ingredients tasted like they were expired, she spoke to Sam, and all he did was disagree and said he would look into it. There was no offer for compensation or offer to let us return the pizza. I second guessed myself for a moment and heated up another slice in the microwave but to no avail. I took one bite and literally felt like I was eating expired cheese and chicken.

Edit: I feel bad for posting such a harsh review. So I adjusted it to give them the benefit of the doubt. Sam was still nice about it, just not too considerate. Their specialty pizza's are not cheap so we just expected more from them. We will be sticking to the Bronco...

I was in town for a quick trip. Found this place because it was close to my hotel and seemed to have some decent reviews. My experience was not as good as others, or maybe I'm spoiled by my normal pizza joints at home. For starters the place was messy, the furniture appeared to be on it's last legs and it was dirty. Whoever owns this place doesnt seem to have much pride in their restaurant. The Salad bar was a disaster and had a plastic tub under it for a leak to drain into. I was questioning if I should even eat here. I'm sure the health department would have shut them down. Against my better judgement I ordered the wings. The wings are not fried, the seemed like they were of the frozen variety and heated up in an oven. They were not crispy and skin sticks to your teeth. Not Good! The pizza was OK, I liked the crust but everything else was pretty flavorless and greasy. Pepperoni, sausage and bell pepper. It should have had some flavor. I wont be back. The pizza was ‘ok’. The crust was thick and close to undercooked. It was watery too. This was it’s most redeeming thing.

I think that most people that are leaving reviews are only getting take out. Several reviews mentioned the atmosphere was a 5. However, I should have checked the pictures because, one of them that was a year old, had the exact same industrial garbage can sitting in the middle of the restaurant… NEXT TO TABLES!!! And it looks just as nasty now as it did then…

Dude!! Find another pizza place OR call to order and don’t look around when you go to pick it up…
