Welp. Saw reviews, seems pretty accurate. So, upon arriving, waiting for one of the 3 dirty tables to be cleaned to sit. Indian couple walks in after me and they are seated first, ha. Ok, fine, no problem.. after about 5 minutes I get a seat.
I noticed each table had a glass pitcher for water but no ice. I requested a pitcher as well as a cup of ice. I get told "no ice." OK, fine. 5 minutes later, the table behind me gets a cup of ice from a different server. Meanwhile, im sitting with a pitcher, but no cup, ha. No problem. I ask for a 3rd time and hurray, I get a cup... cool! I also asked the other service for ice, he kindly brings a cup of ice.. amazing.
Upon placing my order .. welp, I received the chicken tikka masala and rice. As im eating, I ask about my tandoori chicken. At this point I'm more than halfway done eating. I was told they put my order in. Then to wait 5 minutes. Honestly, has they admitted they had forgotten, I would've just said nvm. We'll, the table next to me mentions to a server, they forgot his dish. 10 minutes later I get my tandoori chicken, the other table gets his a few minutes later. Now because I waited 10 minutes after I was done eating for my tandoori chicken, I asked for extra rice since I had none left trying to combat the spiciness of my chicken tikka masala.
I get brought out my rice. After asking 3x for a water refill, the server who actually brought me ice, stops my server and says where's my water. Whoo hoo I get my water eventually once again. The take next to me seemed a bit frustrated as well with the service.
Overall, the food was good, the service is definitely sub par. 1 server who seems to be most on top of it is decent and polite. The main greeter and the young server needs more training. I believe that's the downfall of this place. It was busy, they have to be more accurate and consistent. Otherwise, the will...
Read moreI had lunch with a friend here. We asked the server to recommend vegan dishes and he had a hard time understanding what it meant. I told him no meat, eggs, milk or dairy, however he kept recommending dishes with paneer. I told him again no milk, cream, butter or ghee and he said that he understood. Then he brought us a our food and one of them had white cubes that looked like it could be tofu. I ate half of one and it tasted chewy like cheese. My friend asked the server if it was tofu and he said yes. I didn't eat more of it because I think that it was paneer and I had nausea, stomach pain and diarrhea afterwards. When I looked at the menu (I took photos ahead of time) they have nothing with tofu on their menu and I don't even think that they have tofu in their restaurant. I don't think that they understand that certain food allergies can cause life threatening allergic reactions and people are not asking for food modifications because they have no better things to do. If you can't accommodate/make the changes, tell your customers and they will happily go...
Read moreIf you're craving bold, flavorful food that leaves a lasting impression, this restaurant is the place to be! From start to finish, the meal was absolutely incredible. The Nalli Gosht Biryani was rich and aromatic, with perfectly cooked mutton that just melted in my mouth. The Murgh Malai Tikka was insanely tender and creamy, with just the right amount of char from the grill—definitely a must-try!
I also loved the Karivepaku Kodi—the curry leaf-infused chicken had such a unique, fragrant taste, unlike anything I've had before. And let’s not forget the Bullet Naan—it packed a spicy punch but still had that soft, pillowy texture that made it the perfect companion for the meal. The Telangana Chicken Curry was the ultimate comfort dish—spicy, hearty, and loaded with depth of flavor.
Every dish had its own distinct personality, and you could tell they put a lot of heart into their cooking. Whether you're a die-hard foodie or just looking for a great meal, this spot will not disappoint! Highly recommend...
