I wish I had listened to the other 1 star reviews of this place before I tried buying anything from them. The owner lied to me multiple times and wasted my time. I ordered a bookshelf from them and was given a delivery window between 2-4 PM the following Saturday. Saturday comes and I had not received any confirmation, so I send a follow up email to Son to find out if they were still coming so I don't waste my whole day waiting at home. He told me he had to reschedule because "one of his trucks broke down" and could he come at the same time next week. I'm a pretty understanding person and so I agreed, although I was disappointed and had not made any plans for that day in anticipation of the delivery. The following Saturday, the bookcase was delivered, although my delivery window was changed when I, again, confirmed it. When I tried to put it together though, I quickly found that it was missing 1 of 3 metal frames to make it stand. I called the store and they told me to text Son's cellphone with a picture of the missing part. I never heard back from him all weekend, but gave him the benefit of the doubt because it was Easter weekend. Come Monday, I call the number and ask when I might be getting my part. Son said he never got my message and had no idea that I was missing a piece. I knew he was lying because his texts had a READ RECEIPT on them. What an idiot. He told me that it would be ready on Saturday of that week from 2-4 PM. Saturday came and went and no one came by to drop off my part. At this point, I had already wasted THREE SATURDAYS waiting for this stupid bookshelf. When I asked him what was going on, he said that "he had been sick" and that my part would get there no later than Tuesday and asked if he could drop it off when I get home from work. He backtracked and asked if he could ship it once I let him know that I don't get home from work until 7 PM. I consented, like a moron, and had him promise to send it when it got in expedited and with a tracking number. A whole week passes and I have no part, no communication, no tracking number, no response to my emails. All this time, I'm trying to find a solution and am calling the manufacturers in order to get the part because I felt like I had just lost $200 to these MFers. It was clear that the part wasn't coming and I had wasted 5 weeks of my life waiting. With some creativity, I manage to find the missing part, but had to pay extra for it through a different retailer. Randomly this last Friday, I get an email saying that Furniture Direct was coming to my house on Saturday to drop off my new desk. WTF. I never ordered a desk. I didn't respond as I had plans and, frankly, I don't care if I end up wasting their time. Lo and behold, they show up at my place while I wasn't home, calling and texting me that they had my part, which I no longer needed.    Read moreThis business if you can even call it that is a JOKE! I ordered a Cal King Bed from this business/SUNNY after coming across them on Craigslist. He promptly said that he would have the bed in 2 weeks. Great. Its almost been 2 weeks and I haven't heard from him so I reach out and ask if they will be delivering 4/7/18 since that's the 2 week mark. Sunny made plans with me to deliver this item between 1pm and 3pm. My husband took work off and my dad came out to help set the bed up. Literally 30 minutes before 1pm Sunny texts saying he would not be coming as previously agreed??????ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!You make a plan with a customer that has already paid you and then make a plan to deliver on a certain day and time and then give no courtesy whatsoever or thought that we made plans for this delivery and then never show up. Long story short my husband ended up cancelling the order and we got refunded our money via Paypal which I paid with. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUISNESS AND DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY STAY IN BUISNESS WHEN THEY HAVE PAYING CUSTOMERS AND THEN DONT SHOW UP!    Read moreSunny at the Fremont store has been very helpful throughout the furniture process and delivery. The store has many furniture catalogs and can check availability/status pretty fast. They helped me put together and order well priced, stylish, good quality furniture for 3 rooms. The delivery guys were polite and quick in assembling all pieces to my liking. The delivery guys even gave me good tips on mattress choices, box spring options, fabric care, and even style recommendations. I did have to wait a little longer for some items to arrive and I’m still waiting for few more, but given covid-19 times and issues, it’s possible the delivery delays aren’t in the stores control. What counts more is that Sunny did his very best to right the issue and make up for the inconvenience. Their customer service and effort to make up the delays was outstanding and extraordinary, they really went beyond in giving me some peace and establishing great relationship.
