Quality of the food doesn’t match the prices. Between a party of 3 our bill was $97 before tip. In total we bought: 4 fish tacos, 4 regular tacos, 1 torta and 1 horchata.
Tacos de carnitas were dry and bland. Tacos al Pastor weren’t dry but it was lacking in flavor, and it looked like the fake pastor that you’ll find at a cheap food truck. Tacos de asada were good, no complaints there Breaded fish tacos were also good, but overpriced, almost $8 a taco. Torta de asada was pretty good too. This was barely justified in price.
All of the salsa’s are watered way down, not sure what they were thinking there since most of the food needed some kind of salsa to help up the flavor.
Horchata looked more like champurrado, not bad but didn’t taste like horchata.
Our server looked like they hated their job, looked upset from the beginning. Maybe was having a bad day.
Overall, the prices are ridiculous for what you get. Will not be coming back for a while, might give it another chance if there is some reform in the quality department. I don’t mind spending the money that I paid, but it was absolutely not worth it here. The prices are way too high for such low...
Read moreLove this place! The tacos are messy and taste fresh and delicious. We like to get a quick bite here frequently since doing takeout is easy. They do have a small parking lot that's usually pretty busy so you might get lucky or you might need to park around the corner. The chips are lightly crunchy, and the salsas are good but a little bit watery. They have a taqueria standard menu and the workers are competent and nice. It might not be the best food you will ever eat in your life, but it will fill you up for not a lot of cash. I have had fish tacos, lengua tacos, carnitas tacos, carne asada tacos, chicken tacos, and I think others too. They are all good. They do not skimp out on the meat either. The yellow corn tortillas are great but it can be a bit hard to eat the tacos because they fall apart due to some liquid and the weight of the filling. But that is not much of a problem because it is really tasty and three tacos are a nice indulgence without going overboard. One time I ate 40 tacos at a birthday party and that was overboard. Nice to have in the area....
Read moreGreat little spot for tacos, burritos, mariscos, and aguas frescas. The Vampiro is my go-to. It's a tostada with melted cheese topped with your meat of choice, cilantro, onions, and guacamole sauce. Carne asada is my favorite meat. They have great Taco Tuesdays and Burrito Wednesdays specials. Give it a try! I'm hooked!
Been coming here for a while now, and I finally tried the Pambazo. Wow! So full of flavor! It's a torta but the dip the bread in a chili sauce then they brown it on the griddle. Inside they stuff it with papas con chorizo (potatoes and chorizo), lettuce, cheese, and crema(sour cream), although I order it without the crema. You absolutely...
