Couldn't decide what to order until "Hell's Bells" arrived at table next to mine. It looked delicious, so I ordered it -- except I ordered mine with sausage instead of bacon. Nearly 40 mins later my daughters and my order arrived. Her "Home Sweet Home" looked (and tasted) amazing! My dish was cold, and looked absolutely nothing like the dish brought to my neighbor. Thinking it might have been a mix-up, I flagged a random server and asked her what my dish was. She wasn't certain at first, but eventually guessed it. "I thought it comes with cheese?" I said. She agreed it should have. I also asked her why there were English muffins in it. She wasn't sure. I asked her if she could warm it up and add some gravy as there was precious little over the biscuits. I barely finished my sentence and she had my entire plate in her hand, and said she would "fix this." Several minutes later, my somewhat unattentive waiter (big bald guy who appeared to be the only male working in service on 11/3 between 10:30-11:40am) came over to our table and explained that they couldn't remake my dish because they were no longer serving biscuits and gravy -- they had run out. I'm guessing this is why my "Hell's Bells" looked absolutely nothing like the "Hell's Bells" that my neighbor ate. He then asked me to order something else, which I did (the "Eggman"). But instead of moving the replacement dish for my botched order to the top of the queue, I'm guessing it was placed at the bottom of the heap again. I waited another 20 minutes -- my daughter had by then completed her meal -- before letting the counter know (waiter never checked in with us) that once done, I would now be taking my meal to go. The waiter only showed up again to give us the bill.

The overall experience was super disappointing. My daughter's meal was fantastic as was my replacement omelette, BUT... having to leave nearly 70 minutes after walking in, WITHOUT HAVING EATEN is just straight up unacceptable. And, not one single time did our waiter check in with us to try and smooth things over. The truth is, had I not based my order on my neighbor's, I probably would never have noticed that my meal didn't look quite righr -- I would have been disappointed (cold food, forgotten cheese, skimpy biscuits and gravy), but without something to compare it to, I probably would not have noticed that mine just wasn't right. Instead of having tried to pawn off a sub-par meal on me, the waiter -- or even someone from the kitchen -- could have simply walked up to me, informed me of the shortages, and I would have ordered something different. No problem! Instead, I left the restaurant feeling like they had tried to pull the wool over my eyes.

One star for my daughter's delicious meal. One star for the random server who immediately noticed that something wasn't right and attempted to "fix it." And sadly, I'm not so sure that I will...

We were driving back to Sacramento through Fresno and found this joint on Yelp. I LOVE Benedict!! But sadly I acquired a severe (anaphylaxis) reaction to all things animal milk. This allergy has kept me from eating my MOST FAVORITE breakfast at diners and restaurants alike, Eggs Benedict. Benaddiction changed that today!! Thank you!! The hollandaise is definitely different here but it is Eggs Benedict and it is DELICIOUS!! I had the Tom Sawyer with these deliciously crispy potatoes on the side. The eggs were fried but the most perfect over medium with a perfectly creamy yolk. The Canadian bacon was cut thick, salty and meaty. The English muffin was perfect. SO GOOD!!!! My partner is vegetarian and the waitress let us known they have Soyrizo, so he got the omelet (sorry no pics of the omolet). *Suggestion for the future, put the soyrizo on the menu . (If it is there I apologize that we missed it.) Thankfully the waitress gave us this tip. Definitely a wonderful and welcoming diner. If you're local, you're lucky because they are opening a 2nd location this week, turns out. The service is friendly and our server, was the sweetest. Even the owner was a delight when he bussed our table and took a brief pulse survey asking our opinion about the food. He was very sweet and genuine. Turns out the hollandaise is dairy free because he too has issues with dairy products. I like that he has the dairy free hollandaise AND still caters to the dairy eaters because the menu is pretty vast with buttermilk pancakes, cheese burgers, buttermilk fried chicken, and more. Definitely a mouth watering menu. I wish I could eat everything they offer. But today I am completely satisfied with a belly full of my favorite breakfast. When we come back down to Fresno we will DEFINITELY return to try another of your delicious...

I was really excited to try this place after seeing so many reviews and hearing about it on the radio, but when I got there I was instantly put off. I got there May 25th at 11:30am and was seated promptly as it wasn't too busy at this time. When I sat at the table it was caked with something sticky and even after they gave it a quick wipe it was still leaving a black residue on my napkin (I don't know how to post the photos on here). Even so I persevered to order in hopes the food made up for the punk-house garage level of cleanliness, but when they served the water there were bits of floating particles which I know from working in a restaurant for 5+ years is from not cleaning the spout for a VERY long time. All of these things piled on, I cancelled my order and left without even drinking the water. After leaving I saw many reviews from people claiming they are getting sick from eating here, I can clearly see why, I would not trust this place to serve what is essentially warm buttery egg yolks and I esspecially would not spend $10+ per plate for this level of hygiene. There is a broad line between relaxed and lazy atmosphere and this place somehow managed to break my expectations in the worst possible way. The one positive I can give is the staff was prompt and not at all rude.

TL:DR Dirty restaurant wouldn't trust their kitchen to serve food that won't make me sick, also the outside smells...

Let me start off by saying that this was my first time here. It's was around 830am on a week day and I remembered a food truck I had been to a couple years ago called Bennaddiction and decided to Google. Luckily I found out they have an actual restaurant now. I walked in and was welcomed by the staff and was told I could sit anywhere. I ordered the iced coffee, water and the Joker. You have the option between the plate or the sandwich, I chose the latter. The joker included your egg, salmon, avocado, bacon and hollandaise of course. All next to a heap of hashbrowns which I like to call the hash brown cake. Every flavor blended so well together I find myself wanting to recreate it at home just to taste it again. There's really nothing I can say bad about it this place. The food was great, staff was friendly, my waiter was attentive. Yea the place was a little small and the food a little pricey, but what do you expect from a small mom and pop that's making food unlike anybody else in town. And though I mentioned pricey I have to say that it was very much worth the price, the flavor is unmatched salmon moist, hollandaise tasty, bacon smoky, and avocado fresh and egg just right.. Definitely worth the price and worth a try for anybody in the north west Fresno area.

My first experience at benaddiction was nice and I didn't know what to expect. Over the years I've listened to Ex-Morning Host Skippy on New Rock 104.1 talk about this restaurant but never made the effort to check it out until today. I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses and benaddiction is now added to my list. I adore the attention to detail throughout the restaurant. I'm in love with the rock theme throughout the restaurant. It oozes with nostalgia with VHS tapes at the front desk and record player bookshelf speakers hung up on the wall. Heck, they're QR code for the menu is on a CD Case. The food was delicious. I chose the Who Made Who. Im not one for biscuits but I would recommend this. I also ordered a cold brew which apparently the roast is from Lanna Coffee, ANOTHER great local business. Italian chef kisses all around by me. I really enjoyed benaddiction and cannot recommend them enough and cannot wait to go back. Cool staff too by the way.
