So here is our take on our one of many to come experiences here .. We normally go to KarWah but it was Labor day & Monday so they were closed ! Before we moved to north Fresno our go to was Sunrise for years !! Any how I searched for thee nearest Chinese food and up came Ding Ho after reading all of the obvious fake reviews!!! I was hesitant but we said ohhhh what the heck let's try it 🤣🤷♀️ ... Upon arrival thee lot was full we literally had to park at the end of the shopping center (totally fine with us btw) We walked in and it was packed with Pd , door dashers and regulars waiting on orders !! Also a great sign !! I'm talking out the door orders !! Also if you ever been to MarksKitchen & you thought that lady there was hilarious wsit until you encounter Mrs DingHo screaming the orders 🤣 All in all the food was so so good honestly better then our regular spots we will be returning over & over again trying the huge variety of combinations they have to offer !! Don't pay any mind to the lies in the reviews posted on Google there are no dine in tables so no one was rude & not waiting tables !! It is pick up only so call in your order or be prepared to wait 20 min ! Also there is no food on floors either they have a total of 5 cooks cooking that you can watch them cook your food from the waiting area 😉 they have tons of ready to go food preps for all the orders ready to add to woks as do all the other restaurants that cook they all chop & store in advance! It's pretty simple if you didn't like it don't eat there again you really don't need to rate low and spread lies ! I'm happy we gave them a shot this is literally a Fresno hidden gem ! TRY IT YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !!! We spent $21 on two plate what a great deal 👌🏻 for...
Read moreI feel bad giving a bad review but I think the other reviews don't reflect my experience. I feel this is a legit family business probably using family recipes but I just Really did not like the food and wish I didn't spend my money here. I tried the egg rolls they were ok different from others i've had; not sure what the pink stuff was in them. The pink stuff turned me off a bit just not knowing and not expecting it, pink isn't an appetizing color to me. I would appreciate a little description of what's in them. The fried shrimp were really bad, too much breading and not one pinch of seasoning in the batter nor on the shrimp, that was the worst part out of everything. The bbq pork had this ham flavor I don't like ham so that ruined it for me, it was pretty plain and then you get this ham flavor, no thanks. The chow mein had this slime on top I guess you have to mix it into the noodles because the slime is what had the flavor. I tried the pot stickers and they were good I don't know what was inside, it did have pink stuff as well but they had good flavor and texture. A little bit like don't think about it just eat it. The sweet and sour chicken was good, crunchy outside with the typical sauce a little too much sauce for me but still good. Then the fried rice was really good lol best part of the meal, good flavor and everything. Maybe I'm just not cultured enough in Chinese cuisine and I'm being a baby but still this was...
Read moreI don't come here for the atmosphere. They have not returned to restaurant dining since the pandemic. They don't need it. This could be the best Chinese takeout I've had in years. It's 750 feet from my front door. The only issue for me is going to be not going there too much and getting fat. On this last visit, I had pork chop suey chow mein. The noodles were perfect. It was enough for three complete meals. The day I got it the next day, and then for lunch today, the pork inside was succulent and delicious. With that order, I picked up fried shrimp. These are also great reheated. Could you not do it in the microwave? Let them cool to room temperature before you refrigerate them if you're not eating them all, keep them separate from everything. Throw a paper towel to absorb any moisture, and then when you reheat them, do it in your air fryer in my air fryer at 370 degrees for 4 to 5 minutes. I have an Emeril Lagasse basket fryer. It's nothing super fancy, but it...
